  1. Did you get all of the 1.600 beard grafts in the crown? Or did you get scalp grafts there too (and if, how much?)
As far as I remember, you mentioned that you can't even tell any lack of density in the beard? How long did it take until the redness in the beard area disappeared?

I am VERY pleased with the EUGENIX work and intend to go there for a density make over in the scalp...
Unfortunately I am not sure how much my scalp donor has left to give (after >5.000 Grafts in 2 surgeries, thin hair) so I most probably have to concentrate on beard grafts...

PS: sorry if you have already posted this information, but this thread is reeeeaaaaaallllyyy long ;)

  2. @BeHappy: may I ask how old you are? I am in my mid-40ies, so I'm not sure about the impact of Fin on my hair...

@Bill: you are right, there's not enough experience in this topic... this is all I found:

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5447335/

I definitely lost body hair (but not pubic hair) and I significant lack density of beard hair (I have a full beard). User BeHappy confirmed the loss of body hair in his post - but this is no scientific research to be honest... we need a lot more feedback in this thread ;)

    Where are the experienced physicians?

  3. Hi Guys,

in a "regular" hair transplantation surgery, it is advisable to take FIN first to strengthen the donor, then to keep the native, AGA-prone hair.

On the other hand, the consequence of taking FIN is a significant decline in body hair or beard density (I can confirm this myself after about 14 months of taking FIN).

If I'd consider undergoing a body / beard hair transplantation (for example to fill up my crown), is it useful to take FIN then? You'd reduce the possible body / beard graft harvest then, rigth?

What about post-surgery? Does transplanted beard / body hair take over genetic information of the scalp hair and thus become resistant to AGA by FIN?

I'm not sure, but I think I remember some clinics which perform BHT recommend discontinuing FIN a few months earlier - can anyone confirm that?

  4. Thanks for sharing your experiences with Fin.

I started taking it about 3 Months ago.

First I tried it topical, I noticed slight pain where the prostate area is, some kind of muscle shivering.

After 3 weeks or so I started with additional 1.25mg 5 days/week. I then started to have REAL pain in the prostate area plus brain fog plus light sleep plus watery sperm. Really annoying.

I cancelled taking it topically and decided to take smaller amounts to find the right amount for me.

I've tried a lot (from 2 times / week 1.25 mg to 0.25 mg each day), for now I've ended up taking it dissolved in vodka (so it's easier to dose a 5mg Finpecia), 4-5x a week 0,50mg with significant less sides.

I'm still in a progress to find "my" dosage, but 1.25 mg each day is definitely a NO GO for me.
