8 MONTH UPDATE 

Sorry I haven’t been too active, purely because I am not fussed about my hair anymore! Attached are my 8 month results which is from today... 

im happy with the result, one side is stronger then the other but I guess it’s still quite early days, I’d like a bit more density in the middle of my hairline as it’s always been weak but let me know what you think!

I'm booked in to go travelling 4 weeks after my surgery for 6 months, how have you been finding it? Are you travelling somewhere hot? I'm a bit worried about the sun, obviously I will be wearing a hat most of the day but was wondering if you had any tips for this?

Ah really! That's pretty cool having it on the same day... what time is your flight? I'm getting the flight at 23.50pm on 31st October!

@ HG1 - 31st and 1st, no better time for an HT than Halloween! I've been recommended to go for 5000, I'm a norwood 2 with a lot of diffusing hair so it makes sense. Wish you luck with your transplant!

 

@prefertoremainanonymous - Yeah 10 days is normal, check out OFX, they should be cheaper than your bank as they don't charge a fee.

I'm due to go to Ankara next week for my HT with dr civas.

But with everything in the news about turkey, who has actually been the past couple of months and how did you find it?

I'm just worried about the domestic flight from Istanbul to Ankara!

And just to add, since my first post I am back on propecia, been on for nearly a month now! Joined the hair restoration program from boots and collect 3 months supply from there for ?96

Hey guys, you are all completely right.. I don't want to lower my hairline I just want to strengthen it! I have consulted with many doctors now and believe 1800-2000 is correct.

Here is who I have consulted with and their recommendation:

Dr. Cinik - 4000grafts - €1990

Long time lurker, first time joining...

Well I'm finally taking the plunge and getting FUE done by Dr. Yaman in January, looking forward to actually having a decent hairline for once in my life!

For years I've been stressing about my hair, some might say it's not too bad but in my mind it is haha.

Current regime:-

Minoxidil foam (regaine)

Nizoral shampoo

Propecia (although I keep forgetting to buy and haven't in 2 months)

I've had a massive struggle trying to find an actual surgeon who I feel I can trust, I considering civas Ekrem too...

Anyway here is my hairs current state.. an dr. Yaman's team have put a line on the picture, they recommend 2750 grafts which I think is quite a lot, but who knows the state of my hair when it's shaved!
