  1. 15 months on, wow time flies.

I haven’t stressed about my hair once from the day I had surgery. Can style my hair long, short, up, down. Before I had the transplant it took forever to style my hair in a certain way that I would be semi happy with.

Best money I have ever spent, if you are thinking about it just do it. I spent a couple years scrolling through this forum seeing other people’s transformations before I grew the balls to just book it.

That is normal and especially for a first hair transplant it can be a harder process as is all new.

My first HT, (2006), I recall a friend had his the day prior and his first four months were agony in that he was constantly checking and looking and I took the opposite approach and i just ignored it and time flew. I remember telling him, a watched pot never boils..so we got together a year or more later and discussed how we both had a different first 4 months. We both got good results though but the waiting was not easy.  Things get worse before better and this is the usual process.

Keep in touch with your advisor and ask them anything you need and you can DM me anytime also.

I was definitely on the side of ignoring it and getting on with my life, and time just flew by! Next thing I knew I had a fringe again 🤣

Thank you for your further update and as the comments would suggest, it is appreciated by the community.

Your hair looks great and frames your face beautifully and despite "limited" loss pre surgery, the transformation is clear and very impactful.

It was a pleasure to assist and I honestly couldn't be happier for you and wouldn't blame you to move on and never look back or share further updates. In fact I would encourage it! You deserve it!

    Wishing you the best!

Cheers for all your help Ian all the best 🙏🏼

  4. What’s happening people. Sorry I haven’t updated, It’s crazy how you forget you had a transplant in the first place considering at one point my hair was such a worry. Moral of the story if you are getting stressed over your hair just go for it. Think that’s me at 10 odd months now.

I can now style my hair in unlimited ways and lengths and I haven’t stressed about my hair since I walked out the surgery to be honest. All I wanted was a natural result and I think I got it.

Here’s a dump of photos as I’m not sure wether il post again, but I couldn’t be happier with the outcome, go visit Dr Bisanga 👍🏻BD491394-7CFC-4EA3-97F4-2631AFC85490.thumb.jpeg.2c4ae6ebc5a88efe04836fcc5b19c021.jpeg5961BD62-6C11-4F1A-9D9F-133098B1C12E.thumb.jpeg.41727d1161d39000358357edb459af84.jpeg92102D45-E9F7-4F9D-A110-32F5B6EDEB95.thumb.jpeg.4df06e35c19a593a8e636b5779de0027.jpeg089C26A7-5EED-48C1-97C3-7B23073975F1.thumb.jpeg.7d4cdc42b54e85066212b8673c2b1f9a.jpegF9FD60F9-345D-4371-93C7-FE1776096051.thumb.jpeg.75cd1607b17e94c3798daae987417eeb.jpeg1A0F246B-F2C7-4F9C-94D6-824A3372963A.thumb.jpeg.e6aaa5ad22a39fc362ee11c4709d5325.jpeg

Definite improvement even with the hair combed forward and the hairline concealed, which is impressive. Even the weaker side looks good given the stage you're at. Congrats.

The weaker side looks a lot better in pictures for some reason, it’s more noticeable in person

    @J123m

    looming great 👍

I am 4.5 months in from my procedure with Dr Bisinga. I’m extremely pleased with how things are looking. I had a bigger area covered than yourself, at the moment I’m in a similar position- one side is thicker than the other and the furthest point back on my temples is behind. I guess once you get good early growth it becomes difficult in seeing the improvements.
I am over the moon with how things are looking. I have recently been parting my hair and trying to see if I can see any new hairs popping through in the thinner areas … as yet I can’t really see any but I found it interesting how you have started to notice some at the 6 point mark.
    I guess it’s the process 🤞👍

Can defo agree once you get such early growth it’s hard to see improvements but that’s a very good problem to have haha! Yeah crazy how the process works I thought I was at final product so was shocked to see loads of new hairs only just poking through in the hairline area now

  7. 6 months!

Don’t think Iv posted any of pics of how my hair looks when down, it’s a fair difference to before surgery.

One side has always been stronger than the other, but now after 6 months I’m seeing lots of new hairs growing on the weaker side. Crazy it takes so long for some of them to come through

Bottom pics are just some of hair when wet and combed

    delighted!

  8. 5 months update, I am still early in the transplant and couldn’t be happier so far but I had alot of early growth so it’s harder to see big improvements so easily now.

I can’t see how it could improve on this at 12 months and would be fine with this as my final result 😂

I took some in the sunlight to show it at its potential worst. Its been years since I have been able to wear my hair up like this so very happy! CD04FC4C-333A-44A0-B0C5-AD2AD7492D8E.thumb.jpeg.97ffb749b0ce6bdce03a6bd4da1eee47.jpegAC7182DE-95C5-4145-B891-F6BFA78E2EF6.thumb.jpeg.4e278de048ccabb3ca9cc1cfc7ad1131.jpegB88E8F06-381E-4933-977C-3730A46C767A.thumb.jpeg.5f53c6b965f4c165dc46c6f717dfd73e.jpegA134B923-1A42-4ED2-860A-2118CC36BD40.thumb.jpeg.2116ea8cf4b1c4c9ab6ff064c7f4af70.jpeg7E94FD0D-DF4F-4C7A-86D7-F18A39CFCBC0.thumb.jpeg.318ee2806fe5dd20c698a9dff31507f5.jpeg19DF016E-2B89-4C35-80C7-AC6455302A8D.thumb.jpeg.fce09c8dbd5a8ba753bcb1f58f9aba87.jpeg27953A9F-B768-4E50-A076-33C4C9D0BC71.thumb.jpeg.2df6e68e38338e2ce3489f06db92c878.jpeg

I noticed you mentioned you only spent around 10 mins with Dr. Bisanga on the design; was that because you both agreed so quickly?

Also, do you know if he dissected some of the multi's into singles for the hairline?  Did he take any from the nape area?

Both agreed so quickly, and no idea if he took hair from nape area

Thank for the photos and update Joe.

Unusual to see a patient with a skin fade just weeks out of surgery but I think the photos speak for themselves.
This really shows the importance of a managed extraction approach and what can be achieved in the right hands.

Whilst we are all conscious of the donor, in most cases the emphasis is naturally put on the front / recipient area, but such a donor approach really allows patients to maximise their donor availability over the longer term which really should be a priority for us all

Looking great and your temples are slowly coming in too.

Some good months ahead to look forward to.

Thanks pal. Honestly couldn’t be happier considering those scars are still only 6 weeks healed! Greatful I found Dr Bisanga from this forum and didn’t jump into a random transplant in Turkey.
