  1. wow!! I had 2644 grafts done to my hairline with dr.diep and am hoping I get results as awesome as yours!! Im 11 weeks post op so a little past 2 and a half months, and Im starting to see tiny stumbles appear, but nothing too exciting yet. I had two horrible procedures done with neograft with terrible results so Im pretty scared to say the least. But from all the support and pictures on the forum, I feel dr.diep is the man!!! Ill keep you guys posted too!

  2. I also had a procedure with diep for 2644 grafts to restore my hairline. I just hit 2 months and had some shockloss. but this is when your patience is put to the test (the ugly duckling stage). Lets hope i get results like Mods!!fingers crossed. check out my updated pics too

  3. If the quality is the same then yes but rarely are the results as consistent as a great expensive doctor. Maybe Turkish doctors are cheaper, but factor in a round way trip and hotel expenses along with a complicated travel plan, it would even out. Thats usually why turkish doctors are cheaper. If you can tell me a FUE doctor has consistently put out great results with before and after videos (NOT PICTURES ONLY), I would love to know about them compared to DR. Diep in California.

  4. un13.. You are right, you should go with a cheaper doctor and definitely look into Neograft. 2....heart transplants are a bit more expensive than 17,000 too not sure if you were aware of that. You probably know alot more than me about it since I have had 3 hair transplants. You determine what the value of your hair is, for me it is 17k for a specialist because I can afford it. You spend what you want and can afford but a word of wisdom, you get what you pay for and dont be cheap.

  5. Gillenator!Hey thank you seriously! Yeah I still had hairloss and for sme reason I figured upping the dosage would help but i never factored in the normal hairloss from 600-100 hairs a day. I have been taking minoxil 5% (foam) every since my ht and it seems like im seeing some light activity upin the recipient area.

I was always under the impression that they were pretty much the same thing finasteride and proscar andprescribed for the same thing. I had no idea that proscar is more for cancer treatment. Good looking out man!!!thanks for the heads up. Im currently taking saw palmetto, biotin, minoxil, proscar, fish oil, and biotin. TOTAL OVERKILL I know..... but none the less can feel like im losing the fight..

  6. hey mosd! I completely feel you on the waiting game. It is hard to not check the mirror every five minutes and not get frustrated sometimes. I hear alot that you can really notice a huge difference at the 6 month mark. the 3 month mark is when thing just start to happen. Its a waiting gamemy friend.

I also had a transplant exactly 6 weeks ago and its killing me to wait and not worry so we have to stay positive.. stress can cause hairloss guys!

  7. that looks unreal at only 2 1/2 months! the hairs still have to mature and im sure there is much much more to come!I just had my HT with dr.diep to fix my hairline and can only hope my results look as good as yours!! Its the waiting that is the hardest!!happy growing my friend!
