  1. Like I said, I did get my hair transplant from them and am documenting my journey. I am not however working for them nor am I getting money from them. Yes the guy in the photo is me and I am a web designer. I approached HC and asked if it was ok to document the journey and they agreed.

When I created the fan page I put the name as HC for men LTD and later realized I shouldnt use their name. Well its a mess now and Facebook wouldn't get back to me on changing the name.

I guess I can't get you guys to believe me but Its the truth.

For example, the video above is of me spinning in a chair. I am spinning myself with my foot. I don't think HC would do that...

    Cheers.

  2. Hi Bill,

We already discussed this. I am not Hair Club. What happened was, I created the fan page and called it hair club for men to document my journey. I have tried to change the name since I made it but of course Facebook doesn't get back to me. So it is stuck at that name. HC has its own facebook page somewhere.

I paid for my hair transplant just like everyone else.

Anyways I will post up the photos in a few. I am at work currently.

    Thanks guys.

Sparky - Yes I was in the sun and got burned. I didn't know I cant go in the sun for 3 months??

  3. Hi All,

I am 39 weeks into my hair transplant and am not sure if I am on track. I mean it was easy to know when I was at 3 or 6 months but now I wonder.

I am 43 years old and got 3500 grafts. My progress has been great and I am happy with my results thus far. And it looks natural, like I am just beginning to lose hair in my crown area but I just want to know if I am on track at 39 weeks.

Can anyone tell with video? If not I can provide pics.

    Thanks,

  4. I say it is your decision and hope you have done your homework in choosing the right doctor. With that being said, you have a great friend who cares about you but this is something that you need to think about and decide if its something you really want. Factor out everything and make your decision off of that. Let us know what your decision is and keep in touch!

  5. I agree with the others. Do your research! I also went to a consultation with Bosley and was going to go with them but changed my mind when Hair Club Medical Group provided me with contacts within the hour that I asked for them!

Whoever you choose to go with make sure you research about them.

  6. 1- Yes I am happy. Most of my loss was the crown area. So I was a NW 6 without the loss in the front. Is that still a NW 6?

2- Dr. Gaffney of Hair Club

3- I was a NW 6 but had most of my loss in the crown area. You might want to ask a Dr. that question

    4- I had 3500 grafts

    5- 1

6- No regrets. I am still 5 months in and am posting my progress with photos and videos.

6- I had a FUT so I do recommend it.

  7. Hey BaldingLuka,

I actually got my hair transplant from Dr. Gaffney of Hair Club and haven't heard of this Dr. Fremont. I just went on the website and his name isn't on the Hair Transplant list.

I am documenting my experience. So its not up to me to tell someone to go to them or not, they can decide for themselves.

Two of my friends are also getting a HT from them and will also be documenting it so If anyone is thinking about getting a hair transplant from Hair Club, they can be the judge while following our progress.

So far I am on Week 18 (got my hair transplant in my crown) if you want to view more photos they are below. You can also see more photos of two other guys who have sent their results to me. Photos

  8. I took a few pictures of my sutures being removed. I no longer feel that tightness after getting the strip removed. I was scared that I would feel that way because I've heard when people get face lifts some feel a tightness the rest of their life. Thankfully mine went away after the removal.

  10. Thanks Bill! I am definitely going to do that. I would love to meet others going through the same journey as I am...or at least interested in it.

I have a question though. If I have a youtube page for videos...can I post videos here of my progress?

  11. I'm sorry, I didn't know that it included signatures. I thought I had deleted it after seeing that it wasn't accepted here. I am not hair club. I am going to be a patient with them and just wanted support from others since I will be posting my progress. I still would like to post here because well, it is related to what I want to get done.

  12. Hey greenmud,

I am 42 and going to get a hair transplant. I am balding on my crown area. I don't know if this will help you but I will be updating my progress with videos and photos. If you want to follow me on twitter or facebook let me know. It will be good to see the process of getting this done from someone else. Maybe it will help you make a decision as to whether or not you want to get a hair transplant done.
