I would recommend trying a Surgeon from Turkey. As It will be resonable in terms of price and there some good doctors who can create something really good on you. I would not recomment FUT for you as you will probably regret this scars after getting old. I was with a patient yesterday who had FUT twice and he thinks he made something really really bad.

You are right that I have to wait. But they have used 4 k grafts. Last month only a few of them started to grow. And no more progress since then. if the growth rate continue like this I give zero chance that yield rate will be over 50%.

transmedfail, you definately over paid. I know transmed pricing policy and its not more than 3000 eu no matter how much grafts they use. Maybe they charge less for turkish people like me.

I am not going to share the name of the clinic before I see the final result. But I am already sure it will end up with failure.

I'm looking into Flyhealth and I'm probably in about the same stage of hair loss as your friend. Most places are saying 3500 or so grafts. Would there be anyway I could talk to your friend or would he be open to sharing pictures? I can't seem to find anyone to talk to about this and the clinic doesn't provide any names.

Thanks, that would be great. Do you know which surgeon it was with? I've heard you have to be careful with how many grafts are taken because you don't want to "over harvest" so to speak. It can cause problems.

I checked their website and they are working with 2 hair transplant surgeons. Jonathan's transplant is done by cinaroglu Plastic Surgeon Essic Cinaroglu FlyHealth Istanbul According to this page he has 15 years of experience. hope this helps.

I am a 29 year old male suffering from male pattern baldness; it has progressively got wworse over the last 12 to 18 months. As majority of the memebers on this forum can properly relate to this is really starting to effect my confidence.

 

After much consideration I have decided to get a fue transplant. Due to bugdet constraints I am looking to undergo surgery in turkey. I am hoping that like minded people on this forum can recommend any good surgeons or experiences with me?

I've been reading the whole thread on cost vs quality. I live in the UK so I may have to travel as I want a good quality doctor but at a fair price.

 

The prices that I read on here are very vast in difference for the same number of grafts! It's so hard to work out what is the best thing to do!! Do I travel? I really don't want to as it just adds to the stress of the whole procedure! There does not seem to be any proper answers to my questions haha.

you should absolutely travel abroad because you can have it for less. Moreover you can see new places I can help you find something if you like.

wrong. its all about ones available donor hair and how much money they have. I have plenty of both.

 

I have thousands of body hairs. thick ones. in fact, I have about 2500 beard grafts available to use with a very large and dense donor area that can easily withstand 4500 grafts with about 6000-7000 available.

 

plus I have about 2500 viable body hairs from thick and dense chest hair. as well as arm and leg hair. leg hair takes a long time to grow but my leg hairs are as thick as my beard is almost and surely as thick as my chest hair.

agree with you. You can have more than 7k grafts if your donor area is health enough.

If you are still checking for clinics I would say you may try Flyhealth. My friend Jonathan tried them and It was around 1800 euros for 3600 grafts. Actually they said there was no grafts limit if donor area is good. I will add pictures of him.

Well the recent violence was almost 5 hour drive from Ataturk Airport in Istanbul. Not sure if that gives you any peace of mind but safety is never fully guaranteed anywhere I suppose.
