  1. Zona,

I understand your frustration however, I have seen dozens of exceptional examples of Dr. Diep's work and results and I am confident in his ability, technique and experience. Just because this member didn't post photos doesn't mean he's fake. Some people post to share an experience whatever, I do agree that it would be nice if individuals shared more detail or posted more than one time.

    Best,

    Bill

I agree. But it's understandable to be skeptical especially when you are investing in something financially and emotionally. Trust is huge in this type of procedure and I hope this patient is legit

  2. Having a HT procedure is never anything to rush into especially if you feel that more research is necessary. Try to think in terms of evaluating the pros and cons of surgical hair restoration as well as the risks and benefits of the procedure.

And seeing some photos would enable us to provide you with more specific recommendations along with stating your goals and expectations.

I attached some photos on my first post. Are you guys able to see?

  3. Thanks guy!! Appreciate all of you taking time out of your schedule to give my some advice and feedback when you didn't have too. I have taken 4 visits. Dr. Marc Dauer in Beverly Hills, DR. Mohebi, Dr. Ziering, and lastly Dr Diep. They all seem great and they seemed honest except for the Dr. Ziering experience. I never met him and had a consultation with his assistant (red flag) and him saying he had a transplant which I didn't buy. And the fact that his office keeps calling to schedule a date.

So right now I'll probably stick with Dr. DIEP since my hairline is my main issue. But will do my due diligence til then. But if any of you guys have any Fue doctors in mind that I should contact or avoid, please let me know .

    Thanks

  4. I recently cancelled my treatment with Dr. DIEP since I felt like I haven't done much research and was in no need to rush. I'm 30 years old and want to restore my hairline and I heard Dr. DIEP is a hairline expert. Would appreciste advice on how to do research on hair transplants and what should I look or ask for in a doctor. Would love to hear from any of Dr. Dieps patients. Thank you

  5. hi, haven't posted much since nobody seems to care unless the surgeon is maral or lorenzo , but here are some almost 5 months post-op updates since i figured there are quite a few diep patients here.

these pics were taken 4 months and 3 weeks post-op, with flash on, so it's about the worst type of lighting you can get, but overall very pleased with the results so far. There are still some areas that are lagging behind, mostly where the implanted and pre-op hairline meet, but i know with time it will all fill out.

As you can see, i've gone quite a ways since before the surgery, best decision ever.

Also, i have been blow drying my hair daily after i shower and combing my hair back as i would like to slick it back once it grows out, which is why the direction is going back.

ok this doesn't look like the same guy. Am i wrong?

  6. Most of this information will be provided to you by Dr. Diep's office a few weeks prior to the surgery, you wear the bandages for the first night and remove it the next day, Dr. Diep gives you anti bacterial ointment and gaus to wash and clean the donor area the next day, for the first 3 days stay in get rest and make sure you don't exert yourself, after that your eyes free to wear a loose fitted hat, when you get home make sure to take the hat off. Make sure you read the pre-surgery instructions thoroughly.

OK thanks for all the help. Appreciate it.

What do you think of the A cell option? Does it make a difference ?

  7. I used diep, hes great. my main question to ask is how many grafts he thinks you have left after this for surgery if your hair loss progresses. he's going to recommend that you go on propecia after your surgery if you aren't already on it. I think you are right to start off with a smaller procedure of 1000 grafts and then wait to see how your hair loss progresses.

I don't think you are too young.

    OK will do thanks

  8. If more grafts are extracted on the day of the procedure you pay the bill afterward not on the same day, but typically the same week.

OK cool, and after the surgery, am I going to have to wear bandages on my head for a while or do I take it off that same day? And how soon to wear a loose cap. I wear hats at work and I will be taking a week off so I hope I can where a hat a week later after surgery.

    Thanks for you opinions btw.

  9. No I don't think 1,000 grafts is enough, you're going to have to rebuild the full frontal third, I'm fairly certain the frontal tuft is thinning and will eventually be gone, the last thing you want is to have two horns of hair with the middle missing. I would say at least 1,800 grafts is needed to rebuild the hairline without lowering it.

Also, are you on any type of hair loss medication like finasteride and Minoxidil? I can see some thinning in the crown. You have to plan long term, what will you look like when you're 40, 50, 60 etc.

I'm planning on taking Rogaine for the crown. And I don't want a straight hairline since it won't look natural on me personally. So ignore that blue line I drew on my hairline

If I need more hair grafts on the day of the procedure, will I have to pay the difference that day or can I pay it later?

  10. I'm a 30 year old male and getting both my corner hairline filled in with minor procedure of 1000 grafts. I hear dr diep is a hairline specialist so hopefully I made the right decision.

If anyone had him, can you tell me your experience and what should I ask him him that is important? Anything will help.

And do you think getting a hair transplant at 30 is too young or old enough?

And ignore the blue line I drew on my hairline. I don't want a straight hairline so go with that on determining if 1000 grafts will be enough

I hear dr diep is a hairline specialist so hopefully I made the right decision. Attached are my photos and give me your opinion of 1000 grafts will be enough or how many should I get.

  13. @Sean oh thats good to know he does temples well. I saw username pkipling and his results were nice but that's the only patient I've seen from Dr. Mohebi. I want both my temples done and I want my hairline restored from my left and right side. My middle hair line is fine according to my previous consultation with Dr. Dauer.
