  1. I know their "doctors" domt perform surgery themselves. they assign nurses to do it. actually longevita does not employ any doctor. check their terms and conditions in their website. they just find random doctors and sign agrements with them. longevita does not assume responsibility for surgery gone bad.

  2. Why ?. You cant say that to someone but dint give a teason why dude.. its clearly the last thing you want to hear when your going there next month so what you just said is quite important.. what dr did you see at longevita ?

    Scott

please see my previous posts to understand why.

  3. Wow...Just read that. That is unbelievable. In their marketing jargon - "Hair transplant in Turkey by Longevita’s hair restoration specialists ", "Longevita hair transplant surgeons in Turkey are very experienced and talented in hair loss treatment"...then in T&Cs ...surgeons have nothing to do with us, and if you dare speak ill of us for a bad outcome we will take 5,000 compensation.

Was actually looking at going through them for the HT. Definitely not any more!

    Exactly! Stay away from Longevita!

  4. Dear angyrguy,

We have our own account on this forum to interact with the patient community and we do not compensate anyone to write favorable comments about us as we believe our work speaks for itself. Just so you know, some of our competitors did this practice in the past and they were banned by the forum moderator. The fact that we still use our own account with our logo with an account history since 2013 shows we are a genuine operator.

We do however have a referral program which we advertise on our website. We are proud to mention that we have a very high satisfaction rate and almost half of our new patients come to us on a referral basis.

If you are less than satisfied with any of our services for any reason please get in touch with us directly and we'd be happy to help.

    Regards,

    Longevita Patient Services

I wont be contacting you because you threaten your patients not to write in forums! see my answer: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/173710-dr-ali-emre-karadeniz-dr-resat-altug-aktas-longevita-post2436655.html#post2436655

  5. Hi everyone ..

Sorry if this is a repeat of other posts I'm looking for elaboration on experiences with longevita in Istanbul .

Any been with dr Altus there, and how was your experience recently with the following.

    1. Travelling by Turkish airlines (as I know it's not the best ) and quite frankly reading about there recent history is quite scary ie hijacking planes Ect and crashes.

    2. Being a westerner right now in that part of the world. Are you taken care of like being picked up from the airport ok and nothing too dodgy .

    3. Facility that your in once in Istanbul at the surgery is it a safe area is the hotel close by?

    4. And lastly of course the main bit how was the experience and the transplant by these surgeons , happy with the initial result ? And expecting decent growth ?

This is my second HT my first was by pro hair clinic in Belgium but prices at the moment are sky high to return there ,, longevita are offering unlimited grafts for like a 1/3 of the price man !!

    Thanks in advance

    Scott:)

I never advise Longevita. You would be disappointed. Look for other options. Pay more to get more. Or consider other cheap options such as Mcan Health Turkey.

  6. Dear angryguy,

We are very sorry to hear that you had less than satisfactory experience in Turkey.

We'd be willing to help you if you could please contact us directly by emailing info at longevita dot co dot uk and send your latest pictures.

The doctors in the UK are motivated to criticize the work of others abroad because they are losing patients to overseas providers, so I would not rely on just their comments to asses the results of your surgery.

We follow up every patient after 1-3-6 and 12 months post surgery and make sure they are happy with the results or take remedial actions.

    Regards,

    Longevita Patient Services

I wont be contacting you not to disclose my real identity because another person posted that you ask for money if someone criticize your company. in your terms and conditions, you even specify this although it is not legal. see 2.6: Terms & Conditions | Longevita Medical History Form

  7. just read which Dr [technician you went with], the thing to remember longevita are only the middlemen if you like ,and they have more than one hair transplant clinic on their books ,

all I can say so far my results are on course still early days [5.5 month] but i think at the 12 month mark I will have a good outcome, I have also been in contact with 3 guys who have been with Longevita one in particular is elated with his result I have seen his pics, and one has gone back for a second op to address his crown area, none of us went to the clinic you went with, when did you have your hair transplant?

It was the one in Izmir. My friend had it as well and he is really unhappy. You should know that they pay people to write in forums and speak to people who are considering hair transplant with them. I know because they offered this to me as well. I wouldnt trust people who keep praising Longevita.

  8. Guys I will open a new thread about my experience but I should warn you off Longevita!

I got a quote from Mcan Health in Turkey but I chose Longevita because it was an older company but I regret my decision so much now.

Recently I had hair transplant in Izmir by Longevita and the person who they claimed to be the best in the field turned out to be the worst. Ferdag Akova is not a doctor and she really sucks at what she does. Not only mine but also my friend's head have been ruined. I showed the result of my hair transplant to a doctor in London and he said it is the worst operation he has ever seen. Please DON'T ever choose Longevita for your hair transplant.
