  1. Consider yourself lucky then that it doesn't progress that fast. As seeker2014 mentioned here there is really no timeframe on how fast your hairloss will progress. However you have clearly lost much density already in a diffuse pattern all over your scalp. Chances are that if you do nothing your situation is going to be heck of a lot worse than it is now in a few years.

Well, how can it looks better today than 5 years ago?

The bald in crown different from time to time... That's so confusing. Sometimes I think "oh finally my hair grows back!!" but after 6 moths, again it is not so good.

  2. Do you have a picture then from 6 years ago so we can compare?

Seems just like AGA to me dude sorry. This will progress more and more if you get older if you do nothing. How fast? Nobody will know. However do know that you are in a good position to act now.

I found one picture 5 years old from ahead of my face. Took now one, so similar to the old one I possibly could take. (A bit curlier today)

5 years old to left. Right: Today

  3. Looks like your developing a diffuse pattern loss. Could it be from the heat from the straightners debatable.

Mpb can have a generation skip so look at great great grandperants ir somewhere down the libe someone in your family tree was bold and it skiped to your generation.

Best thing to do is go see a hair specialist so they can yake a proper look and determine whats going on with your hair.

    Hope this helps

yeah, but what is strange; My hair baldness has been the same for almost 6 years, and my hairline is exactly the same as when I was a teenager. Only in the middle of my head. Some periods it is even better than right now.

I thought male pattern baldness means it becomes worse and worse by the time?

  4. Hello!

I am so worried about my hair. When I was a teenager, my hair was long, curly and fluffly. I had a lot of hair on my head! But, when I was 19, just over one summer, my hair turned thinner. Now, I am 25 years old, and since 6 years my hair has been thin more or less.

No one in my family have baldness. My father is 60 and have very thick curly hair. Even my grandfather on mother’s side, who passade away 75 years old, had thick hair (Fantastic!?). All my brother’s have thick hair, and no problem with baldness runs in the family on both sides.

What can be the reason for my thin hair? When I was young, I did not like my curly hair, so therefore I straighten the hair every day. Can that cause problem in the scalp?

My hairline is exactly the same now as It was when I was young. I have low hairline and it is low now also.

I asked 3 hairdresser, but none of them could for sure tell what is the reason for my hair loss. I would preciate if you could tell me what you think about my hair. I will post some photos of my hair in different conditions.

    Many thanks!
