  1. Thanks, that’s what I was thinking to just stay there for 7 days after so that il come home around 8th day after op, hopefully by then il look sort of normal and have no risk of any damage or anything like that. Didn’t realise I could go to asmed for my daily wash haha that’s a good bonus then. Thanks again for the reply. Will keep watching you progress and wish you a happy result :)

Yeah should be fine, my swelling started the day after top of my forehead, Donor Area heals well within around 4 days or so by day 8 you should be fine to wear a hat , Just be careful when putting it on and off and don't have it tight just rest it on your forehead

    Good Luck Mate,

  2. I'm good thanks Callum, 8 weeks on Friday for me - so full update then. I appear to have a few sprouts coming through, very thin and light coloured. Had no hair in that area before so not my imagination. Shockloss seems to have improved. Scalp is still pink, although improving slowly. Roll on summer 2018

Yeah, I was same I had some sprouts coming into two month then come three month had lots more, it's amazing isn't it! Yeah pinkness will subside eventually I tend to not even really check anymore I wear a hat day to day, You're right roll on SUMMER! Enjoying Growing Mate :)

  3. Hi mate, your results look great so far, after reading all the reviews for Asmed on here I decided to book my HT with them, 4500 grafts... my main concern is do I stay in the hotel for 7 days after before flying home or should I fly home straight away? I’m just worried about damaging my head and also looking like I’ve just had surgery. Did you wear a hat on your return trip? Can this affect the grafts?

    Hi mate,

If I ever went back in the future I’d definitely stay over for a week or so, with staying over you can also go to asmed everyday for your daily wash witch is a added bonus but if money isn’t a worry I’d definitely stay over for a week or so if you can, the airport etc is daunting I mean if your not bothered about people’s opinions then just go straight home it’s always nice to be in your own home comfort I went straight home after my op but would defiantly stay a week if I go back

  4. Looking good Callum, seems you have had a good few sprouts for 3 months. How's the numbness and scalp pinkness? Should be a big next couple of months, hope you see continued improvement.

    Hi mate,

Yeah have a lot of longer hairs and a good amount of sprouts so all is good, everything’s fine really pinkness is still here but not too bad but still visible, how’s everything with you?

    Cheers

  5. Hi Callum,

Looking good mate. Been following your post from the start. You are 5 weeks ahead of me. I'm in deep 'shed' territory  Your 2 month pictures look really good, and you Are around half way through the fugly stage - not long to go :D. Your scalp pinkness seems to have recovered well, how is the scalp colour in reality?

Happy growing, you should look well in time for Christmas. Another Asmed success story I would think. Good luck.

    Hi mate,

Cheers, yeah the ugly duckling phase we all have to go through! It’s not really been a problem for me as I can wear a hat day to day so not really been thinking of it, how you gettting on? It’s slightly more pink in person but nothing too much my hair is starting to cover it in places so it’s not bad at all nothing I worry about, yeah hoping Christmas time redness will of gone slightly, hows our getting on with everything?

  6. 10 Months Post Op

Density is still improving and I think many of the hairs still look thinner than they should be so I’m hopeful that over the next 10 months this will continue to show some improvements. I am thrilled with where I am today compared to where I started and it is easily the best decision i’ve made. Small things that you take for granted like going swimming or playing football in the rain are all things that I do now without even a second thought and you can’t put a price on your mental well being.

I can’t thank Dr Koray and the Asmed ladies enough. Looking forward to going out there in two months for my 12 month result consultation. First two pics are wet, second two are dry, then my donor and the last two are with my hair pushed back from the front and above.

Looks amazing mate! Look where you've come to where you are now I bet your over the moon with the result congrats mate and enjoy it like you said can't put a price on mental well being

  7. I've left my fringe long so I can hopefully cover it, I know it sounds stupid but I'm more bothered about what people think than the operation it's self so willing to pay abit more for unshaven.

I'm flying over on the Wednesday, consultation on Thursday, op Friday and home day after on Saturday.

I read on here to come home day after before the swelling kicked in.

How did you feel walking through airport etc?

Was the procedure painful at all?

You’ve got to do what ever is best for you, they do give you a hat you can wear through the airport etc but it’s not really fashionable it’s jusy a massive dark blue / blue bucket hat but you’ve gotta do what’s best for you.

If you can afford to stay over for a maybe a week or so post op you could do that then you could go into clinic for washes etc then you’d have no swelling and could possibly wear a loose fitted baseball cap for the journey home.

I had the same feeling was so nervous about what people would think but while your there you see all other people with the procedure on my way home I had quite bad forehead swelling nobody really took notice everyone’s too busy trying to get through customs find their flight etc you’ve just gotta get through it you’ll never see them again so?

Yeah I’m really really happy with my temples they proper frame my face, but when you have the consluatstion you can change the hairline/temples in anyway dr Koray draws what he think would be best for you but you can change it

  8. My take is that you made the right choice. Why waste perfectly good 20's thinking about hair and being self-conscious? Have a good time now when you have time. This procedure will be a confidence booster and a stress reducer. I wish I had the option when I was your age. Plus by the time you are 50 there should be new treatments available I would think.

Cheers Mate, was my exact thoughts :)

    All the best,
