  3. The hairline alone, from looking at the hairline design before the procedure, would necessitate 2000 grafts to "match" the density of your still thick native hair, particularly in the forelock. Assuming the crown photo you shared is the result from the work already performed another "1700" would be necessary to create an acceptable result. I believe this is a classic case of not enough hair transplanted to meet the goal. It is a simple matter of adding additional density, properly, assuming there are no surprises revealed during clinical examination.

  4. What it looks like is not relevant to what it is. The numbers do not lie. Assuming your hair has the average per FU for Caucasians of 2.2 or 2.3 hairs each, your average existing density is roughly 56 FU per cm2. Anyone that is going to attempt to thicken this area would need to shave the recipient and many clinics do not do this. If a clinic is saying no, they are doing you a favour because they know that the chance of permanent shock loss is quite high, due to transection of the native hair. One should never insist that a clinic perform a procedure that they are not comfortable with because it will be you that will ultimately pay the price.

  7. Dr. Emorane Lupanzula will be in London on Saturday, May 12th, 2018 conducting personal one on one discussions with anyone seeking information regarding their hair loss and hair restoration options.

Dr. Emorane Lupanzula has built a solid reputation for excellence in the FUE community in part due to his "doctor only" approach to patient care.

Utilizing manual punches, microscopic inspection and refinement and a rare artistic sense, Dr. Lupanzula has the experience and artistic touch to deliver excellence results on a consistent basis.

To have your own personal consultation with Dr. Lupanzula, email us at info@medikemos.com. You will receive your reservation confirmation information as well as the details regarding times available and the location.

  8. "Heavy hand"? I'm not sure I understand this term. It is unfortunate you believe that asking you to justify your position is unfair but if it allows you to avoid the questions, which you have done, then perhaps it makes sense. I was taught that discussion required two sides.

If the clinic is so angered and pissed off that a veteran HRN member and multiple time patient is stating his honest opinion - to the point someone complained to have a long standing account disabled - then there is something seriously wrong here.

Please share your evidence to support this accusation or confirm you have none. Thank you.

  9. Your observation and critique of Dr. Lupanzula's ability to achieve density seems to revolve around one result that you referenced originally in 2016, and more times since. Ironically this is one of our results more commonly referenced when our new patients tell us what kind of result they are seeking.

As it is your right to make your opinions known it is also our right to have you qualify your statements. No one should be free to state their opinions without allowing others to challenge that opinion. Regarding your account, this is not something we were aware of and we made no complaint to the moderators. We asked the question of you because we wished to have an answer, so to complain and ask for your account to be disabled would not support our end goal of having a discussion. What is this "truth" you speak of that is being changed? This seems more dramatic than perhaps it should be.

The reason why we question your opinion is that you yourself have had multiple hair transplant procedures with the stated goal of improving your own hairline density, starting with your second procedure. You did not achieve satisfactory density (to you) with one procedure, from a doctor recognized for density, so why do you feel it is justified to criticize a result, multiple times, that is also a one procedure result? Why have you not criticized your previous doctors for not achieving the density you sought? And you are seeking yet more work to your hairline in a third procedure, or maybe the fourth (this is not clear) so it appears to be unfair of you to focus on this one procedure result when you yourself are not happy with anything less than three or four procedures from your preferred physicians. Could it be that your definition of density, after nearly 4000 grafts into your own hairline with multiple surgeries, is not possible with one procedure?

The result you have been referencing as a reason to not consider Dr. Lupanzula as a "density king", is taken from multiple angles, under strong even lighting and is designed to show what is seen in person as closely as possible. When you consider that every clinic has cases that some will question it appears unusual to repeatedly point to the single 1762 graft FUE hairline as a reason to doubt Dr. Lupanzula's abilities for achieving density. Now you wish to add a patient experience as a reason to not consider Dr. Lupanzula as a density king when the case you reference is not designed to be a high density result in the first place. You also referred to this case as in need of "repair" which is irresponsible to say as you do not appear to understand what needing repair means.

To reiterate, we had nothing to do with your account being suspended or deactivated so it would be appreciated if any further conjecture, and drama, about our involvement to cease.

  10. Trixglendevon,

We would be happy to have you at our next consultation in London, if you are available. It is not until March 24th so there are some openings remaining. You'll get the full attention of Dr. Lupanzula and he will discuss with you what his thoughts are concerning both FUE and FUT and how each will apply to your case and your needs. And he does still perform FUT, just not nearly as much as FUE. In fact, we have an FUT case later this morning.

You can email us at info@medikemos.com to inquire about times and to confirm a reservation.

  11. I would go with Bisanga based on personal experience and also based on a veteran poster's experience with the other doc. He is decent but am seeing issues with him producing solid density results (seeing bare scalp in images for example).

    Dear HSRP10,

I'm curious what defines "solid density results" for you. Our presentations are about as honest and clear as one would hope, and far more so than the presentations of many of our colleagues. Perhaps you are not used to seeing the reality of hair restoration without the use of convenient angles and hairstyles or flash photography.

I bring this question to you because you have made it a point to make this statement on more than one occasion and frankly, we believe it is unwarranted. All things being equal, our results have no density challenges and to use "seeing scalp" as a qualifier is rather unrealistic.

In addition, to question our clinic based on one patient's case is less than fair considering we've been producing consistently high satisfaction rates in Europe for years. To disqualify us because of one case that is not a failure in the least would disqualify every other clinic in existence.

  12. As more patients are turning to topical DHT inhibition to avoid or reduce side effects found in a small subset of oral finasteride users the general topical market is growing. Recently Dr. Lupanzula has begun offering topical dutasteride to his patients, past, present and future and is available with prescription.

  15. Jooey,

When we recommend MSM it is in order for your hair to grow longer, faster but it is not intended to help with the early growth of any grafts placed from one of our procedures. Faster and longer growth of your native hair helps you to hide and camouflage any hair length differences due to the procedure more effectively and more quickly. MSM is typically found in pill form at any health food store in most any country. It is very inexpensive as well. You can routinely find it combined with Biotin, which is another very safe and mild ingredient. You will also notice your nails growing faster and your skin might improve as well.

  16. This NW3V/4 patient came to see Dr. Lupanzula to address the balding appearance in the frontal zone. During his consultation with Dr.Lupanzula he stressed his need for complete discretion as he wanted there to be zero indicators that a procedure had been performed.

Dr. Lupanzula's "Patchy FUE" was the solution for the result you see below. Four small procedures were performed over the course of two months in order to maintain the highest degree of discretion.

    Graft breakdown:

    Singles - 508

    Doubles - 1572

    Triples - 801

    Quads - 50

  17. We already have several reservations for our next visit to London scheduled for Saturday, November 25th, 2017. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet Dr. Lupanzula in person and to receive an informative one on one discussion regarding the hands on, doctor only approach, that Dr. Lupanzula is famous for.

To reserve your spot email us at info@medikemos.com and we will send you an official email confirmation with the time and location of your meeting.
