Has anyone had male pattern baldness in the donor area a few years after hair transplant?

I had a FUT transplant in 2019. I was rubbing back of my head and I felt a lot of skin. So I looked in the mirror and noticed hair missing above and below the FUT scar. It’s noticeable and embarrassing. Is it possible to fix this some how? Very stressed out over this. 

I had a FUT HT in 2019 and today was feeling of my head and noticed significant hair loss around the scar. Would the hair transplant doctor fix this? He did a good job and it looks good except for the hair loss around the scar. 

Having had a prior cranioplasty does not mean you are not a candidate for hair transplantation surgery. It would depend on where on the scalp it was performed and your individual circumstances. Definitely want to see an experienced hair restoration physician.

The cranioplasty is on top of my skull. The top of my head is where my hair is thinning. Would it be possible to inject something into the scalp to give more space between cranioplasty during the hair transplant? Thanks

looks great, Erdogan is who I have chosen to do my transplant. does anyone know if Erdogan has done transplant on someone with a cranioplasty?

I had a cranioplasty a few years ago on the top of my skull. Is it possible to have a hair transplant after a cranioplasty? I have been worrying like crazy over this.

Could someone have fue or strip method after having a cranioplasty?

Can anyone wear their hair short after hair transplant? It seems a lot of people who have had hair transplants wear their hair long. A lot of what I see is a curtain hair or come over look.

Yes, if it's tight, then it limits how many grafts can be removed by a strip. You may not be a good candidate but a surgeon can check this during a consultation.

The scalp on the sides of my head is not that tight just the top of my head.

The top of my scalp seems to be pretty tight. Would this tightness be a problem?

It's probably technically feasible given those people who received face transplants appear to have growing head and facial hair. You would need anti-immune response drugs though.

I would take anti-immune drugs for a full head of hair. I more places start doing research on this and that this will become as common as hair transplants.

I hate this for this poor guy. Has anyone seen a hair transplant doctor fix the lack of growth by doing another transplant or do they just cover the scar up?

I have been looking around on the forums for a long time and just joined. Most of what I see of Rahal's work looks really good, and I am considering him for a transplant. I hate seeing this for this guy. How would this be fixed?
