Hello everybody, don't wanna push this old thread, but I'm in the same situation right now.
Got my hair transplant on saturday round about 7 weeks after my nose job.
So my face, eyes and head are swollen as hell, and a real big hump just formed on my nose again. At the moment my nose looks like before any surgery and hurts a little on the "new" hump.
So I'm worried this hump will stay forever, or just swellings?
What do you think guys?
Thanks
this is very critical situation you should take rest

Hello Charles Sam
Poor diet leads to being under or malnourished. How the negative effects manifest in a person is an individual. It is sufficient to say that if this condition is prolonged body proteins levels are insufficient and the hair, skin and nails which are all made up of keratinized protein can become compromised.
However, it is IMPORTANT to note that diet does not contribute to pattern baldness in anyway. This is a hereditary genetic condition commonly called Male Pattern Baldness [MPB] in which there are two approved medical treatments and HT which actually resolve the issue of hair loss and many patients with androgenic alopecia (pattern hair loss). There is presently no legitimate research proving that an improved diet can stop or reverse androgenic alopecia.
If hair loss is not from MPB and is nutritionally based test by a doctor would be necessary to determine this. In the western world instances of the severe under nourishment are rare.
All the Best, Michael
Keep it up very nice info plus advice

Juice cleanse can also be referred as a juice fast. Ideally, you should do this for three days if you want to lose fat as well as detox at the same time. Keep your meals to a very minimum and replace them with soups and smoothies if possible. Avoid meat, processed foods and high trans fat oils.
If you're juicing, use hard veggies and fruits. Apples, carrots, celery are great. For softer fruits, like blueberries, strawberries, bananas use a high speed smoothie blender. You can add hemp seed, oats, cinnamon, cacoa, green tea powder to your mix and use almond, coconut or rice milk instead of full fat pasteurised milk. Adding Chlorella or Spirulina is good for cleansing toxic waste from your body.
I would not add protein powder, unless you want to build/repair muscle.
Once you have completed your 'cleanse', you need to wean back slowly to your regular intake of food.
With juice fasting I can lose almost half an inch from my waist in 3 days.
My family juices almost everyday using a high quality masticating juicer the Omega Vert 350HD. It's not cheap but well worth it. Raw juicing can cure a myriad of diseases and ailments.
To your health!

@Mike1978,
Hi. Your graft count will depend on what you are trying to achieve. You can postpone surgery and keep a thin-looking crown, but what do you want from hair transplant surgery in terms of goals for both areas? Have you considered non-surgical options or how much hair loss you could see in the next couple of years?
Yes You are right about it

i did not read before about hair powder, but anyway this is informative and helpful thread
Thanks

whether caboki or toppik or any concealer dont put it as long as it is it settles on scalp and block the pores and your pores cant breath. Evntualy hair follicles gets weak and it dies later. You will not notice instantly but trust me take a photo shot of your scalp from very near angle and start using any concealer and after like 3 months you see the before and after photo.
Its no rocket science any concealer name sounds itself concealer. Concealer yes conceals your pores and your root dies
Don tdont dont use it
You are absolutely right about it

You are right this is very very interesting and inspiring

When I see the likes of Brad Pitt at 50 with a head of hair that would flatter a 25 year old or Tom Cruise at 50+ with the same, the last Steve McQueen who died at 50 with a great head of hair I am so envious! When you look at so many of the great or famous Hollywood stars, virtually all of those that women swooned over or were poster boys had no balding pates or balding areas on the crown like me
. I started balding at 42 but it was not really noticeable until 45 onwards. Up until 40 I had a great head of hair and thought I had escaped the fate of my older brother, who although only 15 months older started balding in early 20s and was the classic horseshoe by 30 or so. Well I am not at that stage even now maybe as I started finistaride at 51!
Anyway I digress! My point is a ramble of how bloody unfair this hair issue is as having a well thatched scalp makes a huge difference to the looks and marketability of so called stars. Any balding stars have had to shave down their heads as its not 'cool' or sexy enough to sport a bald patch on the crown. They are very much in the small minority such as Vin Diesel but generally not in same category as Newman, Dean, Redford, Heston, Swayzee, Pitt, Cruise, Butler etc etc... the only one exception possibly Willis but again him :)having to shave well down.http
Thanks for sharing this great info,
Keep it Up

Some patients with pale skin can get lingering pinkness last for months especially when it is in the hairline where grafts have usually been placed much closer together. You could use Aloe Vera gel to try to take away the redness when you are not out and about. A little foundation make up the dry powder with a brush works really well in covering this up. If you have any ladies you can confide in to show you how to apply it or borrow from them.
Good luck.
this is common issue
but you shared beautiful tips, hats off to you
