  1. Hi Guys,

I'm going to do a proper, in depth write up but just wanted to show some pics of my progress so far (9 months) post op with Dr Feriduni in Hasselt, Belgium.

He whole experience was amazing and something i actually ended up quite enjoying, simply down to he professionalism and sincerity of the doc and his very able team.

I'm happy with the results so far and looking forward to hopefully more maturity in the future.

Improved report and pics to follow.

    Cheers

  2. Thanks Seeker, I have noticed that nape thinning for years now, it was really bad when I was a kid and my doc at the time put it down to the stress of my parents' divorce. It hasn't got any worse for years but there seems to be a spot on the left of my donor area (just below the crown) that I've never noticed before but maybe this is from he clippers as you say.

Just waited so long for this I'm stressing I guess, do you know any incidents of retrograde alopecia that have progressed through the donor area? I've been searching but haven't found any yet.

  3. Thanks FUE2014, I'm staying at the Hassotel that was reccomended by the clinic. I have one night there the. Two after the surgery then was hoping to have a look around Belgium and maybe Germany for a couple of weeks.... Obviously depending on how I heal etc.

Did you have your surgery there?

  4. Hey Guys,

I'm booked in for FUE 2000 grafts approx on Monday with Dr Feriduni in Belgium. I've buzzed my hair down prior so that people don't ask too many questions of my new hair style post op but it's seems I have real thin/bald patches in my donor area! The thinning of the nape area has been there since I was around 10 years old and doesn't seem to have go any worse since then, better if anything but there are other areas that look to be thinning. What do you think, I'm flying from Australia so dreading the thought of going all that way and not being able to have it done.

I've expressed my concerns with the doc previously to which he replied not to worry but we made need a conservative approach. However, the pics I have sent him previously my hair looks a lot ticker at the back :/

  5. Cheers hairshopeing, got a heap of questions so I won't bombard with them all at once!!

Haha, yeah I know johnboy, gonna be a long and painful wait I'll this time next year but I've been contemplating it for so many years now that I guess one

More won't hurt! I would've gone with Rahal if the dates had worked out but I'm best man at a wedding early next year and didn't want to be in the 'ugly duckling' phase for that.

I've got the chance to have up to 4 weeks off so I'm hoping that will be enough for it to go fairly undetectable, or at least over the worst of it so I can use a realistic excuse! I work in an environment where it would not go down easily!

  6. Just wanted to make my first post on here and say hey. Been a long time reader of the site and thank you all for the pics and info available on here.

After approx 6 months of research, I've just put a deposit down with dr Feriduni for 2000 grafts FUE. Unfortunately he's fully booked up well into next year so I've got a. Bit of a wait on my hands but I'm sure it'll be worth it judging by his examples on here.

Im approx and NW3 at the mo and had many online consultations before deciding on either Rahal or Feriduni. Both docs create great hairlines and I couldn't decide between them however as I'm based in Australia, Belgium is a bit more convenient than Ottawa for me. When the time comes I'll be sure to document my progress on here.

    Cheers

    Dave
