Hi all
It's been a while since I last posted but thought I'd give a quick update on my progress. Pics are:-
1st HT was frontal third - 21 months post op
2nd HT was crown and top up on hairline - 12 months post op
If you would like me to take different pics from different angles/lighting etc then let me know.
Overall I'm very happy with my result and would throughly recommend Dr Lorenzo to anyone!!!!

Looks great pma..frontal area has really progressed well.hope your enjoying hairstyling again
your crown looks spot on and some early growth i see.
good luck and hope you get similar growth success in your crown as you did your front!
-
Cheers guys for your comments..i'll keep you all updated on progress

Yes..recommendation from most docs is 2 months..

Thats good to know. And it looks good in the photo very naturel. so are you happy with what you got from where you came from or are you planning on getting anymore done? How does your hair feel when you put your hand on your head and rub down. Does it feel thin or thick? Sorry if im asking awkward questions
Thanks..i'm very very happy with my results so far..i am 4 months post 2nd op so am expecting a lot more growth in crown and some in hairline where i had a top up to increase density. I'm hoping i won't need anymore for a number of years now!
My recipient hair feels thick but a little hard still (compared to everywhere where is soft) i guess as it matures more over the forthcoming months it will continue to soften. Its nothing major just something i am only aware of.

Im sure having wavey hair and the hair colour to skin contrast helps with if course some styling. Dd uou get fue sorry uf youve mentioned this before.. If so how does your hair feel after 12 months does it feel wirey like some doctors are saying will happen with fue.. It doesnt look like that on the pictutes but maye a differant story first hand..
Yes i had fue on both ops. If im 100% honest i was concerned at 8 months post op as it was very wirey BUT as each month progresses the wireyness is becoming less and maturing all the time and taken on similar characteristics to my native hair..i have attached a pic just taken now and zoomed in..i have some hair putty in as I'm on my way out .

Yep and thats you done for good. Really happy for you bro. You characteristics make it look really good would it be fair to say you got blondie brown hair? Plus a crazy amount of doubles and triples plus 2.6 hair count id say ypu was a perfect candidate im sure lorenzo and you are very happy with the outcome so far. You definitely get what you pay for thats for sure.
Thanks and I certainly hope thats me done...i have approx 3000 donor capacity left if needed later down the line.
My hair is kinda mixed blonde and brown but also got darker on top since the HT's.. its quite wavy as well which i believe helps with illusion of density..can be a nightmare to comb though! So i do rely on some decent styling products..
My stats were 2.38 1st HT and 2.74 2nd HT (i think..can't remember exactly but they are detailed on my posts)

Thanks Wwiizzkkiidd24 and pma...I cannot complain about anything esp going from an advanced norwood to almost a full head of hair and as you say pma hopefully more to come with the crown.!!

fantastic transformation so far jimbo, thanks for posting
Thanks for the comment Yonex

Hi guys
I'm now 12 months post op 1st procedure (to cover the frontal third) and 4 months post op to address the crown and add a little more density to the hairline..i had a little shockloss in the hairline after 2nd op so the true 12 month result is a little obscured..
the 4 month crown result hopefully shows some growth and I'm seeing less and less of my crown skin as the weeks progress.
The pics of me wearing the black and red stripped top are taken before both ops back in January 2014.
the rest were taken today
I personally am very happy with the results so far...i complain more now about bad hair days!! Hahaha.
let us know what you think and feel free to ask any questions
Oh and sorry if pics are upside down...i can work out how to fix this..

Hi pma
I have very recently returned from holiday with temps into mid 30's. Following advice from Dr Lorenzo I used factor 50 invisible spray..its a little greasy but I didnt burn my scalp whatsoever. .just remember to re-apply at very regular intervals (I was re-applying every 30 mins) and/or wear a hat..
-
That's some serious growth from months 3 to 4 pma. You must be very pleased so far! and not forgetting there's still plenty more to come!! Wait till you start with the bad hair days again
-
Have you encountered any sides being on them?
Me personally no...but some people do (worth searching this site for more detail)..i guess its down to trial and error as everyone responds differently..
-
Thanks jimbo34 im going to register with them tomorrow.
Do you take them?
Is that where you get yours?
Yes been taking them for over a year now..and yes have always ordered mine through boots..
-
Thanks for your comments guys its appreciated.
Can you get that brand in the uk?
This picture is of the dearer type propicia and is from Lloyds pharmacy. What do you think?
Boots is the cheapest in UK for Branded/propecia (although they have just increased the price slightly) you can accumulate boots points too. You need an online consultation which takes a few mins. Other than that its simple enough to order and from a reputable source too.

Congrats Jimbo! Top notch work. Looking forward to the results. Happy growing.
Thanks Dave. I see from your signature that you have very recently had a 2nd HT with Dr Bhatti..hope all is going well and happy growing to you too!!

She is the king of crowns, so I'm positive you will get a great result. Jimbo can you clarify his pricing structure for second procedures, I understand after 3k grafts all subsequent procedures will be at a reduced rate, is that correct?
Thanks FUE2014 - for my follow up procedure I paid 4 euros per graph for the 1000 graphs and 3 euros per graph thereafter...factor in the euro exchange rate (get some great rates with specialist currency providers) and the costs are very competitive indeed
-
Congratulations Jimbo!
Grow well.
Thanks Pete!

Was just reading through your first HT post and you mentioned that you thought you had what you described as some "pluggy type bumps." Did those resolve on their own and are you happy with the appearance of your frontal hair line area? This second procedure should really put your over the top, good luck!
Hi StaggerLee - thanks for the comments. Yes the pluggy type bumps disappeared and think it was down to lack of maturity and density...in terms of hairline appearance I was happy in the main but needed some added density to support behind the hairline more which is why i had some additional graphs inserted to hairline area.

Looking forward to following your progress jimbo.
IMO Lorenzo is the top dog in crown work and I hope he proves it again with your results.
Have a nice day.
Thanks 1966kph. ...it's why i chose him as his crown results are truly outstanding! !
