  1. Albu,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I had the procedure done by dr. Vories on Jan, 5th and everything is going well so far. Interestingly, my transplanted area developed the same scabs as yours. I am really interested to see your final result. Pls Keeps us updated.

    I'll post my experience soon.

  2. Blablaman thank you for sharing your experience with us.

I think you are looking great in just four months :)

I just have a question about your scabs!

I have undergone hairtransplant surgery recently and my transplanted area looked really bad from day one. It is full of scabs now. it is clotted blood covering my entire new transplanted hair.

I am wondering when did your scabs fall off and what did you do to clean up your transplanted area?

I would be appreciated if you can help me.

    thanks

  3. To add my own experience:

I too had a FUT procedure with Dr. Konior about a month after phantom777 (August 12, 2014). I had ~2700 grafts. Anyway, I experienced shock loss around the donor scar. It was kinda bad around where the scar terminated on my left side. I had a relatively large bare spot which was rather scary but I read numerous posts that stated this can happen, it's normal, and the hair will grow back.

Anyway, I'm out what? Nearly 4 months now. I went to the barber last week and have a #4 grade shave on my sides and back of the head. The scar is completely undetectable. I couldn't be more happy.

That's great... I am really happy for you :)

I hope that you get nice results

  4. Hello Everybody

I'd like to share with you this news that I read earlier this morning. To be honest, I lost my interest in these "future treatment" stuff because they are just promises . Anyway, I got this E-mail this morning and it looks like they found something interesting, a " CURE" for the bladness! at least that's what they claim

This is the entire message :

A breakthrough new treatment for the rare form of baldness known as alopecia universalis - in which patients have no hair whatsoever on their entire bodies - may turn out to be useful for treating ordinary baldness and hair loss, although researchers are still not sure.

Using a drug designed to treat rheumatoid arthritis, a Connecticut dermatologist named Dr. Brett A. King helped a 25-year-old patient with zero hair on his body grow a full head of hair in eight months.

The man was afflicted with alopecia universalis, a rare form of hair loss that has no cure or long-term treatment.

The problem: The drugs are expensive... very, very expensive. According to one account, the drugs can cost up to $25,000 a year with insurance. What's more, they are serious drugs with serious potential side effects. But all indications are, they work!

  5. Dear hsrp10,

I just want to say thank you for your response! It is really helpful

The doctor who prescribed me a fin told me that I can notice the side effects on the first or second month and it is up to me if I wanted to continue !

I posted in this form see if anybody has noticed the same symptoms that I did hoping that I can benefit from their experiences.

  6. Questionmark,

My thinking of Fin came as the last solution after I tried every possible other solution. I remember when I first noticed my hair loss couple years ago, I went to a local doctor and he prescribed me a Propecia and Minoxidel. The first thing that I did was I looked up the two drugs online and I was shocked to know that Propecia could cause sexual problems, so I decided to not taking it. My father and most of my uncles are completely bald, so I know I'll be ending up like them. However, the only solution that can help me is a hair transplant surgery but I know for sure I do not have enough hair to get a good coverage so in order to keep some hair from falling, I decided to take propecia and accept the risk of it hoping that I can quit it as soon as I notice serious health problems!

  7. Hi every body

I've been taking Propecia for almost a month. Before I decided to take Propecia, I read a lot about this drug and its side effects. After three days of taking it, I started to notice a very weird side effect. My sexual attitude started to increase which was very weried for me. I read however that the most common side effect is the reduction of sexual attitude . I started to do my research about the problem and I found that the body is trying to recoup the Hermon loss and that's why I feel like this. I hoped that my body would eventually get used to the drug and back to normal, but unfortunately that did not happen. I still feel very sexually active and I feel like I go back to my teenager period!

I 'd be appreciated if someone can help me with this!
