Thanks, Matt. It's been about 2 weeks since the pimples started. So, I guess its another 2 months of this annoyance .

I had FUE done over 5 weeks back. I have pimples/acne in the recipient area. My doctor prescribed antibiotics and gel. I am done with the antibiotics. The pimples seem to subside and come back.
I am applying rogaine to the rest of the areas but have avoided the recipient area because of the pimples.
1. Please let me know if anyone has had little pimples/acne in the recipient area. Also, how long does it take for the pimples to subside ? I have been careful but can see new pimples coming and going.
2. I want to resume rogaine in the recipient area but will wait for the pimples to be fully gone. Should I expect the pimples to keep popping up for some time ?
3. There is some on and off itching in the Donor area - Please let me know if anyone has any idea on how long it takes for the donor area itching to stop.
Thanks.

I had transplants done to the crown area. Its been over 3 months now. I don't really see any growth but I understand I should at least 6 months - 1 year. I do see some occasional redness and a pimple once in a while. I do see some growth in the bald area but I think that is just the sparse residual hair that was present before transplant but had been shaven off.
If anybody has experience or knowledge of crown area transplants, I have a couple of questions
1. Did you notice any visible growth - even thin or minor growth after three months.
2. My bald patch is roughly 3in/4in ( 3/3 mostly) and I got around 1800 grafts. I am not sure this is a good enough number but I was told most of my roots were strong. do you think I can expect any decent result with this number ?
Appreciate
Thanks.
