im getting the hair op and then staying for 2 weeks. yeah i checked the weather, its going to be about 22c, and about 15c in the evenings, i'll just have to wear a loose cap to protect my head/hair during the day. what was turkey like in general, seen a few videos on youtube and the street food and cuisine looks amazing, did you check out theh grand bazaar or the beaches?
p.s hows the HT coming along? have the bloodspots gone by now? hows the itching etc?
Nah only stayed for 3days and went alone so didnt bother.
Its coming along pretty well, lots of little hairs are growing out. Expecting them to fall off soon though due to shock loss, not looking forward to it at all. Still got scabs but they too will fall off in next few days hopefully. Will post a pic tomorrow

Btw are you staying in Istanbul then doing the HT or doing HT then going around the city? I couldnt stay there a day more, it was too hot and had to protect my head from the heat. Glad I only stayed 3 days. And plus, Istanbul is not really enjoyable as a single person. It's more of a family/couples city.

There's a small chance anything will go wrong tbh, everyone at the clinic is highly experienced, probably more than the ones here in UK. If anything does go wrong, it's more likely to do with aftercare than the actual op itself
bloodspots usually disappear within 10 days. Im just using a saline spray for the itching and cream, which he provides after the checkup. Ill probs need a 2nd HT but see how this one turns out and how natural it looks. Yes went for the unlimited package.

Hi, it went great. Was suppposed to re-write this thread but forgot.
Yes so far Im happy with the progress, currently on day 5 post op. Still lots of blood spots but can see the hairs are starting to grow, such a great feeling. Very itchy though and donor area is still stinging a bit. Would highly recommend Dr Resat Aktas, gives good aftercare instructions aswell.
See before and after pics attached

Looks good, nice hairline. Exactly what I'm hoping to achieve. They're spaced out more than usual, did you ask for that? My doctor has advised me to just have the basic area covered then maybe do a 2nd procedure in the future to get more grafts for a denser hairline

I think they mentioned that it comes with the order because they know it affects sexdrive so most males would order viagra anyway. I probably won't use it anytime soon lol
Yeah I believe it was the 5mg proscar, has a different name though. It's some big blue tablets. And yes I've had mpb for years now, I'm a Norwood 6 I believe.

I ordered 5mg propecia from a Canadian pharmacy, came from India though which is weird. And came with some Viagra aswell as propecia affects sex drive apparently.
Anyway, should I start propecia before or after the HT? I'm taking Biotin everyday, maybe its possible to take both? I dont like having too many tablets inside my body

Very good progress, keep going! I considered Farjo aswell but were out of my price range unfortunately. Might go with them for my 2nd HT in 12months time. Just two questions if you dont mind?
1. How soon did you go to the gym? And did you do full-intense worksouts? I do a lot of cardio and sweat a lot from my head so I need to get back on that asap after my HT
2. How many days after the HT were you forced to sleep on your back? And how soon after the HT were you able to put water/shampoo on your head?
Thanks for your time

How many pills of Biotin/Propecia do I take a day? And I'm assuming 5mg is stronger than 1mg? About to put an order in but just need to know these little details

Got a hair transplant coming up in April and have been using Biotin everyday, with a bit of minoxidil. But heard that propecia is far stronger, should I stop the Biotin and get on the Propecia? Bearing in mind I will be taking them after the HT too

Don't do anything that might put stress on your head like go for a walk, as it burns calories so heat will disperse from head. And cover from sunlight for first 7 days

Hi joscampbell
How did you experience with Dr Resat go? Someone on here messaged me saying I should rather go with a more reputable Dr like Aslan or Doganay. Would you recommend him? Feel free to PM me i'll be making a thread regarding my HT after I return on April 14th

I've got a HT booked with Dr Resat on April 11th, will let you know how it goes

Bradford786, keep us updated on how it goes. I actually only live 10mins away from you lol, small world!

I'm going to Istanbul for a HT in a months time. Only my close family know, and my two managers at work. Didn't want to tell them, but tbh I had no choice. Once I return to work they'll start asking anyway so thought I'd tell them. But I'm really worries that I'll get some odd looks and stares all around the office, how have you coped with it?
I'm going to ask my manager if it may be possible to wear a hat for a few weeks, although I'm not sure how this might work in an office environment.
Also, speaking of hats, is it advisable to go outdoors wearing a beanie hat after the HT? I'd wear a cap but they dont suit me. Don't want any of the hat to be touching the implanted grafts
