I used the machine but tried to be extra careful and not to touch the scalp (I only pressed on the sides and back and cut the top almost without touching). The redness depends on your complexion, normally it is visible for the first 3 months or so, sometimes less. Hat is always an option, although it may interfere with pimples many people have and perhaps cause more redness. I wore hat during receptions and such, but took it off at work most of the time, fortunately I only worked in small groups back then. I also stopped caring at some point, everyone needs to pass through the "ugly duckling" phase after HT. Also, the redness is only visible in strong light from above, otherwise it is completely undetectable, e.g. when going out in the evening. Hope this helps

dear friend, thanks a lot! I read your report and saw the amazing result! I have one question. I know that all the crusts will go away aproximately after 8/10 days. What about the red skin? I mean, do you notice red skin for many weeks or only if you take minoxidil?

Did you cut your trasplanned hairs by hair cut machine or only by scissors?
