  1. Hi Everyone,

I must say, its been about 8 years now and my hair looks better then ever.  Some people have even accused me of wearing a wig.  I was really bored and was trying to look for Dr. Michael Beehner patient picture profile but can't seem to find him on here anymore.  Its been about 4 or 5 years since I last login but just wondering why his profile no longer is on here.  BTW he is top notch guy and I couldn't have ask for a better result.

  2. I, like some of the other posters, recommend seeking other opinions from other doctors. To me, one thing to STAY AWAY from are doctors who offer more services than just hair transplanting, as this doctor also offers a variety of plastic surgeries besides hair transplanting. They are a few Drs. in NY that are recommended on here, Dr.Feller/Dr.Bloxman, Dr.Brenstein & Dr.Beehner. Again, don't sell yourself short with just one Drs.opinions, i guarantee, each Dr. will have a different recommendation, its then your job to do your Homework and seek out the best solution.

  3. HEY EVERYONE,

I have recently gotten pretty serious about my lifting and dieting, but still have the urge to try to obtain that extra "edge" during my lifting. I have seen a lot of supplements that boost "free" testosterone and some of the reviews and ingredients seem promising. My question is, If i were to start taking a supplement like this, would experience any kinda of hair loss? My hair is more important to me but it would be nice to add something like this to my routine. Does anyone have any experience or input on this?

  4. Im not sure guys, I've been on finasteride for about 20 months and haven't had any sexual side effects or any side effects whats so ever, in fact, Im raging for some p***y, 24/7. BTW I'm 25 y/o. Fin has thicken up my existing hair and stabilized my hair loss. I think some people who "experience" any of finasteride side effects might already have some genetic prediopsition, such as erectile dysfunction and the finasteride just accelerates the process. I also workout regular and have a pretty good diet, other than that, Im not really sure why some people might experience side effects and some don't.

  5. Hey guys,

I'm calling your knowledge and experiences on this one. I am supposed to get a scar revision but I'm not really sure what exactly is involved. The one side of my donor stretched a little bit and my Doc said we could revised the scar. My questions are, how long will I have to wait to wear my hair shorter, what's the heal time, what if it happens again, do I have stop lifting, will it be noticeable. Thanks guys look forward to your help.

  6. I would have to say 1000 grafts would give you decent coverage but ideally you want to hit the "50% OF DENSITY" I have to agree with the other posters, 1500-2000 grafts should you yield you a pretty nice outcome. Personally, I would also recocomend getting on finasteride to help stablize your hair loss. 3000 grafts seems a bit steep for the amount of hair loss. Although I am sure with 3000 grafts and the amount of hair you have already lost, the outcome would be spectacular. Some things to consider, as Sean had already mentioned, when implanting grafts that closely together, you risk transacting follicles, resulting in a lower yield of growth and also you run the risk of depleting your donor area, if you need transplants later down the road.
