  1. Hello, sorry for late reply. :)

Everything is fine and it couldn't be better. I really cannot imagine someone to do a better work, same yeah, but better I don't think so. Specially for the price.

I am not taking any meds, not even minoxidil. I only take Biotin one pill a day (sometimes one in two-three days). Except seeing that my hair and nails are growing faster, I don't see any much from usage of it.

My transplanted hair is getting wavy and slightly curly like it was before.

One thing bothers me about remaining non-transplanted hair on my back scalp which is surely going thinner so I will need another procedure soon (who know, maybe next year).

    :)

Dear Cloudy , Pls update us with your last pictures :)

  2. It's been 9 months and two weeks since the procedure. I wasn't updating last month but here are some updated photos. I am very satisfied with the result, only thing is that back portion is fading away slowly so it's thinned but still no need for another procedure.

Dear Cloudy, the important thing is the front part and it is really natural and dense :) you can improve the back portion by using hare cares or even 2000 grafts will be enough to cover. You won't be bald in your entire life and i wish a good life with your naturel looking hair :) Thanks for your all shares...

  3. Hey guys!

So it's been exactly 6 months from the procedure.

I am letting hair to grow up a bit. Some people are in shock expressing positively and others are in shock also not expressing themselves when see me after some time. And that's good, of course.

Still not using minoxidil, planning to do so once a day - after one year from the procedure, when all hair grows. Taking Biotin 5mg once a day with meal.

Some new hairs are striking to go from the skin. I had few pimples from them since the hairs were stuck. When I took out the pimple, I saw few hairs from the hole :) That's good also :)

Anyway, I am pleased with the result, just as I wanted. Not near full density, just like the rest of my scalp - thinned but still with hair. As for the donor, I can't believe how much hair donor contains! I see no thinned parts from the procedure. My guess is that another 3000 grafts can be easily extracted from the donor without aesthetic consequences.

  4. Hello,

Thanks for keeping me updated. Time is going fast! :)

Here are three photos to see the difference between 4th and 5th month - now.

I can see the improvement, hope it's gonna be some more in next months. I am only using biotin 5mg. Hairline is forming well and that's the exact hairline I was looking for - natural like I almost always had it. I am looking to have a hair density suitable for my age and condition, not chasing for Silvio Berlusconi artificial look. :)

Dear Cloudy, i think it has been approximately 6 moths since HT, pls share new photos. Iam really looking forward to seeing differences between 5 and 6 months. :)

Dude, very very good improvement, i am sure that you will be really very happy in two months :)

  6. Hello, it's been 4 months since the procedure. Looks to me that more time has passed but here are few photos. I did a comparison and there is is improvement, I also let the hair grow a little bit more (I had it short). There were several compliments from friends "wow, you have your hair grown back? How?". Of course, I watch it every day so I cannot see a realistic evaluation of the growth but if people say so, than something is happening :)

    IMG_6115.jpg IMG_6119.jpg IMG_6122.jpg

I am only using biotin now 5mg daily. Probably this will result in slower growth but I didn't want to use finasteride or minoxidil since minox. gave me a itchy rash and didn't give me results in the past.. finasteride too risky.

My scalp is a bit pinky because of the seborrheic dermatitis but I can live with that. You can see that there are some small parts where hair is not growing for now but let's hope that's gonna change in next couple of months. Anyway, for now everything looks fine. When I remember I didn't have almost any hair in first third of the head (even more), this is just fine for now.

Dear Cloudy, could you pls share your 5 months photos with us?:)

Dear Cloudy, everything is going fine and you will be able to see a big difference in your 6 month at first and much fullness at your 8 month. Because of using only biotin it will be 2 month late at growth rate but it isn't important time for having good result, you were in a good doctor's hand so don't worry about anything regarding your hair transplant :)

  8. Hello,

It's been exactly 3 months since the procedure at Dr. Demirsoy.

I am not sure but maybe I can see that some new hairs got thicker in volume and darker. Redness is still present but less than 1 month ago. Hairline is starting to form just a bit but except that I don't see much. It's only 3 months, expecting more in 4th or 5th month. I had some small pimples couple a days ago so therefore left few red dot's on the front part of crown.

    IMG_6094_copy.jpg IMG_6095_copy.jpg

Dear Cloudy, i can see the mark where the new hairs coming even by photos, how couldn't you be sure expecting new hairs? Really, i can see a lot of dark dots that will grow and a lot of thin hairs waiting to be thicker. Be optimistic dude, this will help your results to be seen early :)

  9. Hey guys, so busy with work sorry! snapped a few quick pics on my phone just now (hair slightly wet) and edited 2nd picture with a description. notice the hair right behind transplanted temple points is slowly beginning to recede, there was no hair transplanted in that new'ish bald spot and demirsoy warned me that it would eventually happen. I'm still very pleased with demirsoy's results so far! Not so pleased with avodart as it has done little to none in the crown area. Will stay on the meds though just to preserve what i have. I will most likely need a second pass for density and to address the issue with temple points. I also need to fill in that damn empty crown with some bht. If not this summer then maybe next.

I do like your hair transplant result, really very natural, very good work:) But as you've mentioned you should keep rest of your hair, you can try nanogen shampoo, vichy green shampoo normal to oily hair and vichy aminexil pro, gnc saw palmetto, natures bounty grape seed extract, solgar omega 3 "950" and solgar biotin. This is the way how i keep my hair from falling, at least try some of them if it is hard to use all :)

  10. Grainy picture taken outside work today, about 10 days shy of 7 months. Had to edit out all the incriminating evidence such as id card etc :P ill get some better ones taken soon.. sorry for the delayed response, been very busy lately...

Thanks for your sharing, you are seen like a man who has very healthy hair and perfect hairline:) This is very serious improvement. At the beginnig of your HT journey, everything was against you but look at you now, you are an example of "if someone really wants his/her dream become true, it will really become true, we should follow our dreams without giving up! :)

  11. Shedding is done, now I have one or two hairs left on the palm when washing the "hair" :)

    AFTER 16 days (for comparison):

    IMG_5914.jpg

    AFTER 33 days - update:

    IMG_5951.jpg

    IMG_5952.jpg

Redness is prominent and I am sure it's gonna be there for at least 2 months since I am white skinned and even when I have a serious pimple with inflammation, I have redness for some time. But it's gonna all blend nice in the summer and in a few months when new hair grows up. Have some redness also on donor (I did a crappy self-trimming so have some uneven shades). I think it's from biotin, it started to itch a bit when I begun with 5mg per day.

So that's about it, I'll update in a month :)

Dear Cloudy, pls share your updated photos, i will have a HT with the same doctor so im looking forward to seeing your results :)

  12. Thank you Clemens and Cloudy. Trust me though, my hair is nowhere near as thin as it looks like in those pictures from uptop, i think the angle of the hairs standing straight + length + flash makes most of the hair almost invisible :o

Clemens, do you know if Dr. Demirsoy would consider doing body hair transplant in the future? I would be your first customer and test guinea pig if you like :D

More updates in the future, bye for now..

Hi dear B-KW, i hope you are doing well. Pls update us with your daily photos like outside or by the sunlight or at home:) i mean i wonder how it looks out of photo studio:)

  13. JimmyJohn i'm a little confused that you mentioned H & W, my procedure was done by Dr. Demirsoy but thank you for the kind words.

Panelist thank you for the compliment. I am quite happy with my hair for the time being. It looks much fuller under a natural setting, nothing like these pictures where lighting is very harsh. And like you said i still have a few more months for potential growth. Also, i am considering having a second procedure 2-3 years down the line. I might be able to squeeze out another 1-1.5k scalp donor grafts and combine that with some body hair to fill in the crown (which was left empty) and add more density to other areas.

If you ask me, your hairline is perfect it is in the place where it should be, i think you should use other scalp grafts for the same place to fill up the area and use beard or body hair for the vertex area...:) Could you pls share what have you used till now? (minoxidil, biotin, finasterid, vitamins, etc.)

  14. Hey all, as promised here are my 6 month post op photos. I actually had these taken a few hours ago at a nearby studio just to give you guys a more honest result. Also please note that my hair is cut very short (3 guard) compared to my pre-op pictures. Since the hair is so short and spiked upwards naturally, it looks kinda thin from uptop but from normal frontal view i think it looks great and im really happy with the hairline. Oh and the donor does look alot thinner but if i were to grow hair out similar to pre-op i think it wouldnt look too bad. All in all i am happy with my result so far. Let me know what you guys think :)

Dear Dude, it is awesome so natural, i loved your hair and i think you have minimum 2000 greft reserve for the next hairtransplant. it will improve in the coming months but if not this situation is enough to be looking good :)

  15. Growth wise yes, Demirsoy delivered and i am very thankful for his help. By the looks of it i'd say 85% or more of the grafts transplanted have grown. But saying that Demirsoy pulled a miracle off and gave me full coverage with 3000 grafts would be a lie. My hair remains somewhat thin, not only due to lack of donor supply for the HT but also the hair follicles themselves being very weak and thin, most likely a result of low blood supply to the scalp from 10+ years of heavy smoking. Anyway, it feels great to have some hair now and everyone i know has given me nice compliments about my improvement. Will upload new pictures in about 2 weeks.

    Dear B-KW,

I hope that you are doing well,

I am looking forward to seeing your updated photos, i hope you will share with us with in this week.:)

  16. Hello Panelist, sorry for the lack of updates this month. Been a little busy with job hunting and interviews. I will try to post my next set of pictures sometime around 25/26th of December which is when i will hit 6 months post op. I'm still noticing more growth/density every few weeks which is a good sign that i have more room for improvement.

I am very happy about your improvement and i hope i will be more happy for you in the coming days, i know how hard stiuations you have been through especially with your donor area, my situation is very similar as yours, so im looking forward to seeing your 6 months pictures. So can we say HT has compensated your expectations a little bit until now?

  17. Number47, in my last update pictures 1 and 4 the hair is almost twice as long. Pictures 2 and 3 were taken shortly after a haircut on the same day so yeah... i just like it this way for the time being but might experiment with shorter hair once the recepient area fills in a little more.

Dingdong, looking forward to seeing your pictures!

Dear B-KW, i hope that you are doing well, please tell me about your last situation and if you don't mind please share some photos, thank you... :)
