  1. I also choose to start fin and not bother with the hassle of rogain due to my sleeping at friends houses and camping and just being unpredictable like most young people. If I was older and had a routine and wife and kids I would definitely be on rogain aswell.

I have stopped fin for 3 months before and it was a bad mistake. Hairloss in that 3 months was not only noticeable but at very high speed. But since starting again I have managed to stop the hairloss but at this stage it hasn't got back to where it was when I stopped which is sad because when I stopped I had noticed a pretty decent amount of regrowth from being on fin. It has got a lot better though. So in saying that start fin get through the shredding and stick it out and you should be pretty happy after about 6 months.

As for the side effects I noticed very slight erection problems in the first few months and a little testicular pain but after a few months they went away. Sperm was noticeably more watery by a lot. But I have figured out a handful of pumpkin seeds a day completely changes that. Like any drug it effects your body and the best way to have the most beneficial results are to be healthy and eat healthy.

why can't you do minoxidil whenver you can does it have to b every single day or else it won't work?

  2. If you want to believe you will get sides trust me you will.

Since Propecia didn't lower my sex drive at all why would it effect me if I had a lower sex drive to start with ?

People were using finasteride long before Propecia came along and at a much higher dose

I think if someone has a higher than normal sex drive than they won't feel the effect as much. For example someone who is genetically gifted at bodybuilding is not gonna notice that much if they skip meals or do crappy training they can still gain if they are great genetics. People with great genetics I think sometimes can get away with more things.

  3. im thinking a lot of the guys getting permanent effects probably could go away eventually and maybe its in their head. Also maybe if they took clomid or nolvadex to boost their testosterone level hormones afterwards theyd be reset.

  4. I wouldn't risk buying meds online. When I researched it, there were reports of inconsistencies in the meds if not order from a reputable company like Merck.

You're General Practioner should be willing to write you a script for Finasteride. You can either buy Propecia (1mg pill) or Proscar 5mg pill) and quarter it with a pillcutter. Buy the meds from a local pharmacy.

    where are these reports?

  5. Don't be fooled! You have to understand the biological reason to why a topical approach with finasteride/saw palmetto is unlikely to work. The prostate makes the majority of DHT which gets circulated in the blood. Blood through vascularisation will reach almost every cell in the body. Even if cells in the scalp have 'their' 5-alpha reductase type II enzyme inhibited, it would not stop hair loss as DHT from the blood will diffuse into the papilla anyway. In fact from what I can remember, its type I reductase that is prominent in the scalp so a more logical approach would to use dutasteride.

I believe that the real hope is in an anti-androgen that directly competes with DHT binding around the follicle (if they could stop these chemicals reaching the circulation). It's really about clever chemistry approaches in drug delivery rather than anything else that we are waiting for.

wow thats one of the best explanations I've seen.
