Any further ideas on this one? Having FUE into scar soon and would like to hear from those who've had it too because I'll also be getting some more grafts into my hairline in the same procedure.

I think he showed immense maturity by drawing a line under his first failed HT and decided to go for the gold standard with Shapiro. If they couldn't get him to where he needed to go, no one can.

Why take the risk on a doctor who's an unknown quantity? You know what this forum is and what it seeks to do in terms of raising the standard of hair transplant surgery. The doctor you mentioned isn't recommended by this forum. That doesn't necessarily mean he's no good but, as I asked, why take the risk.

Use the forum; do a search; put your mind at ease.

Can't the doctors just give patients some kind of headband or dressing that covers the grafts at the back? I remember when I had by procedure, the doctor placed gauze at the sides/temples of my head so as to protect the grafts. Kept them on for 3 days - worked fine.

Surely something similar could work for the back of the head too?

Personally, I can't see any reason why a hair transplant would come up in a conversation unless you'd had a procedure carried out by a hack.

I mean, would she tell you if she'd had, say, an eye tuck or botox?

In any case, if you did decide to tell her and she had an issue with it, you'd need to be asking yourself if she's the sort of women you'd want to go much further than a shag with anyway.
