  1. Hi thank you for reply . Just to clear up as I mentioned earlier I had no native hair left on top of my head all that is there has been transplanted and that is what I'm worrying about the thinning of the transplanted hair mid scalp compared to two months ago . Also me being 42 and nearly all of my native hair gone would it even be beneficial taking propecia and using minox or would it just be a waste of time and money considering the damage is already done ?

  2. Hi , thanks guys for replies I'm just a bit worried because all the hair on top of my head is transplanted hair none of my own existing hair remained so this leads me to the question .if all the hair where I have noticed thinning since the 5 month mark is transplanted hair ?, would meds I. E minoxidil or propecia make any difference to the density ?

  3. Hi I am now 7 months post op having had 3800 grafts with dr Bhatti

My question is I have never taken meds or minoxidil before transplant but did take both propecia and minoxidil for 5 months post op . I am 42 years of age and this was my 4 th procedure .

At 5 months I thought my hair looked thicker than it does now at 7 months .is this just me being paranoid and expecting too much too soon? Or does it have something to do with finishing propecia and minoxidil at 5 month mark ?

    Any help please

    Regards barry

  4. Hi just a quick question I recently had a fue procedure with Dr bhatti in India 3900 grafts 3400 bht the rest scal p I'm now eight weeks post op . This would be my four and final surgery .I would just like to know what percentage of patients shed the transplanted grafts after surgery I have thin existing hair from hairline to crown and can't really tell if transplanted hair has shed I'm hoping I'm not the unlucky small percentage that carry on growing and not shed straight from procedure because it is still very thin and I was hoping for a much better outcome. I known its early days yet being only two months but just wanted a bit of reassurance that I got my growing to come and that the majority of patients shed all or most of their grafts? Thank you in advance Barry

  5. These bastards were responsible for my first transplant in wakefield back in the 1990s they scarred me. Physically and mentally for life .at the end of my procedure they putme in a room for 15 mins on my own then i was taken to the train station and sent home as if that wasnt bad enough my biggest and worst memory of that day was sitting on the train in pain feeling the back of my head only to discover blood pouring out of donor linear scar.i tell you i would do time if i ever caught up with so called dr thomas norton

  6. Can anyone shed some light on the best post transplant regime

I.e what is copper peptide spray ? And which is the best graftcyte .folligen or tricomin?

Also as well as the sprays any other suggestions for the important few days post op to ensure good graft healing and recipient area redness and scabbing.

    Regards Barry

  8. Its a pity to hear another bad story about the hospital group i had my procedure with dr westwood in 2009 and had the same terrible experience, really bad scar and very low density and pluggy hairline .indeed i have since heard that dr westwood was let go by the hospital groupe due to failing eye sight but not before he ruined my life .my next port of call was with a clinic in athens courtesey of malcom mendehlsonanother silver tongued charlatan of a rep who promised me the world but left me with another donor scar and hardly any graft growth.i guess what im trying to say to you is stay positive im in the midst of having my hair repaired by a reputable dr who was suggested on this forum.

So stay positive take the advice of the very helpful and knowlegeable forum members get yourself a good surgeon and get it sorted.remember something can be done dont dwell on the problem and let it take control of your life.you can be helped and you have come to the right place to get that help.sorry for long post but it really hits home when i see another persons life being put on hold by unscrupulous and shoddy clinics and surgeons.good luck with your hair repair journey .

    Best regards

    Barry
