Does anyone know how long Farjo waiting list is before you can book a surgery date,anyone who has dealt with them in the past or attended their consultations and considered hair surgery with them? I know they are top class surgeons but I was hoping one would not have to wait too long before being able to book a surgery date after having a consultation with them.

Thats what I did, but a new page just opens up and the hair restoration network homepage just appears on the page...nothing showing a message page-HELP

In response to the person who just wrote the above comments, I totally agree with and understand with what you have advised, I highly value your viewpoint, it is not just an opinion but purely factual what you have recommended. The problem in the UK is that a lot of surgeons know how to do the surgical aspect of the FUT/STRIP procedure, but when it comes to placing the grafts on the hairline, they have no clue of design and creativity and neither do the TECHNICIANS who are REALLY the ones who dissect and place the grafts into the recipient areas of the patient, SHOCKINGLY in some clinics this part is not even supervised by the head surgeon/doctor who will walk out of the surgery room, you can't even complain if you experience a bad hair transplant as there is no regulatory body in the UK for hair transplant surgeons/technicians whom you can contact about a fitness to practise issue about a particular surgeon/technician. People go for cheaper prices but in the long run this could be more damaging in the financial and emotional sense for a human being. The patient might opt for a cheap surgeon but end up not being happy/satisfied/content with the finished result and end up having to go to more expensive clinics anyway to get repair jobs done...people don't research and educate themselves enough with knowledge and just impulsively go for cheaper and less reputable surgeons and clinics. I live in London and I am totally willing to opt for the Farjos but I don't think I want to go to Belgium (financial reasons mostly), the Farjos have a really good track record and are closer to me and I believe I can trust them to sit on my head and do the transplant, I've been watching Dr Farjo's youtube videos, he seems like the type of man I would feel comfortable with,a lot of male surgeons don't have an openly expressive persona and good social skills through which a comfort level and close bond can be reached with their patients.

Also in response to the person who asked why I want to change the natural beauty, I think this is an individual thing and some women may not mind being born with a high hairline/forehead and others will really be self conscious about it to the extent of wanting to have surgery done,just depends on the person really. I believe that I was not meant to be born with this hairline because my temporal peak areas are really good and close to my eyebrows,but its just the upper aspect of the hairline which does not join up with these temporal peaks and creates problems with my facial symmetry and proportions. I believe the female hairline is the most important part of the face for a woman and contributes significantly to overall beauty of the face and provides a beautiful frame for the face ONLY WHEN it adheres to the symmetry rules for that person's facial dimensions and measurements.

Thank you for the reply. I have heard he is located in Harley Street,I'm from London and he is closer to me than the Farjos who are situated in Manchester. There is not much information on the website link you provided about this surgeon, Greg Williams. It looks like he specialises in dealing with burns patients. Do you know if this surgeon has good experience of doing FUT Hairline Lowering on women with Asian hair and skin characteristics. Thanking you.

Thank you for the advice,its greatly valued, I'm going to contact the Farjos and arrange a consultation. I might have to take out a loan or borrow some money from a friend as I am not working at the moment and I am concentrating into putting my time into research and consultations with clinics into this surgery. I have saved some money but it might not be enough to cover Farjo prices. I can't relate to the second picture posted as she is Black Afro-Caribbean and I am Asian and have different texture hair. Even the first picture of the Caucasian woman is not something I can identify with.

Wow thats really costly, I thought FUT was cheaper than FUE, 7500 sounds more like a price for FUE, I was thinking it would not exceed 5,000 for FUT. I think Wimpole Clinic and Vinci charge 4,000 for FUT hairline lowering.

I was just wondering about technicians and their role in the hair transplant surgery, what kind of qualifications and experience are they expected to have? How long should they have been performing surgery for? They are involved in dissecting of grafts and implanting of grafts into the recipient areas, the surgeon/doctor is not always present to direct/supervise the surgery and going-on's in between, its quite scary and unsettling in a way,the final result is dependent on the work of the technicians just as much as the surgeons,maybe even more contribution from technicians. What kind of questions should one ask a technician when going for a consultation at a hair clinic?

But I'm not suffering from hair loss, its just a high hairline which I would like to lower by 1.5-2 cm through strip method or FUT procedure. I have never met him personally or his technician team. I might go for a consultation with him. If he's really that bad, would he not have been struck off/investigated by the GMC or appropriate regulatory body for hair transplant surgeons.

Speaking of regulatory bodies, who is the regulatory body in the U.K. for hair transplant surgeons/doctors?

What about DR May of Wimpole clinic, do you know anything or anyone, I have not heard any horror stories from female patients who did hairline lowering with him...only from men who were experiencing hair loss and had surgery done on them by him

Thank you so much for your feedback. But I thought if its not hair loss, its generally safe to choose any surgeon...its just a simple hairline lowering procedure using FUT...do you know how much FARJO charge for this procedure in women. Also have you heard of Dr Greg Williams,also with the farjos.

I'm new to this forum,female, not experiencing any hair loss but have a high forehead from birth and want to lower it... I have been researching hairline lowering for a year now and have attended lots of consultations but do not want to go to USA, want to get it done in UK. I was just wondering if any FEMALE did hairline lowering using FUT method with DR MICHAEL MAY from WIMPOLE CLINIC or if anyone has any good information about this clinic and surgeon. Thanking you.
