Dr. Doganay is recommended by our community and has been presenting excellent results!
Dr. Bisanga is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians and is a world class FUE expert.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll be very happy.
Way to not answer his question.

Woah, very good results at 7months. Hair should get denser as it matured and grows. Your hair line is very well done, especially considering you had none to begin with, overall, awesome, can't imagine better results considering your degree of preop balding, and the number of grafts used. Excellent. Demirsoy has been on my list for a while, and he said similar things about my hair in the email consults ..."ie. unhealthy looking hair, and I should wait until my hairloss stabilizes etc."
-
I think now would be when things would start to look good? got an update for us? Dr. Doganay, do you know the status of this patient?
-
-
-
how are you going to hide that from your co-workers? a hat?
-
why do we always see the same 3 or 4 patient results from doganay? surely you've had many more patience since with great results?
-
good early growth for sure. can't wait to see the 1 year mark.
did you travel to turkey for the surgery, or are you a local? How long was the procedure? How was pain during and after surgery?
did he use choi implanter? manual or auto punch?
thanks
-
matt, its almost been 3 months now, i think? how are things progressing?
-
Thanks mate. The doc said he wasnt going to save the hairs in my front half as they were miminiaturising and not worth implanting around. So all those frontal hairs are probably new except for a few that may have survived.
I'm back at work now and no one seems to have noticed anything. I'm using a bit of Nanogen in the crown-mid area.
how are things going? any updates?
Have you been wearing a hat to work? or just walking around with the buzz cut?
-
If I can be honest, it looks a little pluggy at the hairline. Looks like some multihair grafts were used..... isn't it best to always use single haired follicles in the front?
-
Matt,
wow, this is going to be an incredible result. Your skin looks very healthy and ready promote proper growth. Based on your new photos where most of the grafts have fallen out, would you say those are an accurate photo of your baldness preop? is there some shockloss their?
Happy growing....
-
Any shock loss there? Do you have a preop shaved photo?
-
Looks so good Matt. Man the suture closure looks so clean and tight...very impressive. You're going to get a great result I can tell.
Do you have any pics of the recipient area shaved preop?
-
I've heard wavy/curly hair isn't optimal for FUE procedures...is this true? If so, why? Thanks

can't really generalize that all pakistani doctors are crap.
but, my opinion as to why western doctors are better at aesthetic surgery is that they are trained better, they are more competitive and value their reputation. Pakistani doctors also dont have to worry about lawsuits or complaints like western doctors do. Most innovation in the field of Hair Restoration surgery are western....and most confrences where doctors discuss advancements and techniques are in western countries.
when it comes to surgery....seriously....dont take risks like flying to a third world country....you'll end up with third world results.

yeah, that makes sense. however propecia leaves your system in 24 hours. I just started taking it every other day instead of everyday myself. I agree, a little DHT supression is better than none...although thats not based on any scientific studies that I know of
did konior do any shampooing of your recipeint area before you left?
-
What did konior think about you only taking propecia once every 5 days? And want is your reason for doing so?
-
subscribing to this thread. great logging of the experience and the work looks great. looking forward to seeing the progression of the healing and eventual growth.
did the heatwave in chicago effect your comfort at all post op?

Karachi is the scariest place on earth.
-
Looking right in track. Your scalp looks like it did preop, which is what it should look like at 3 months.....now the growing shall begin. Your thread is very valuable to patients, keep it going! Thanks
Thanks everyone for your kind words and support.I am attaching my 3 month update pictures taken last week. Things seem to be right on track and I also met with Dr. Konior for a 3 month follow up. He was thrilled to see the progress so far
The scar looks good. Redness is gone for the most part and there are no signs that I had any kind of surgery.

Jinglealltheway,
I understand your concerns but the reality is, every physician has cases of less than optimal results. Dr. Mohmand has been presenting examples of his results each month and has had dozens of satisfied patients share their experience and photos on this community. While there have been a few documented cases of poor growth or patient posted concerns, it's my assessment that the positives outweighs the negatives.
At this time, I still genuinely believe that Dr. Mohmand performs high quality follicular unit hair transplantation and stands behind his patients if/when the result isn't optimal.
Thank you for sharing your concern,
Bill
Do you guys actually travel to these overseas clinics to see them for yourselves?
dont be stupid, when i was traveling to Karachi to get HT, The contact Person told me the same that you can come anytime,Dr Humayun can come to Karachi to perform HT, but when i was there, you will see reality, they will not even ask you glass of water, no water in toilet even, they will ask you to pay some deposit to book HT and balance payment before surgery.they will never ask you now as you are not there.
i have been there once and i dont have good experience with Dr Faisal. They dont have enough tech to graft a hair on your scalp. even they dont count how many grafts have been transplanted. end of Surgery they will tell you approximately around 2800 to 3000. its 100% confirm that they dont count anything , they just charge base on idea.
you will be served with one glass of orange juice and simple sandwich .
you will never get good density with one HT, even they can because they do not want or any other doctor in PAK who do lots of advertisement they never let their client got with one HT, you must be 2-3 HT to get good result
KARACHI IS THE SCARIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!!!!!! Why would anyone get a HT there? Oh my god. Is humayouns clinic really in Karachi?? If so. Is the hairrestorationnetwork recommending patients go to Karachi for a hair transplant? I am still baffled at some of the decisions this network makes. While I love this place for its community feel, where real patients and prospective pAtients can interact and share info. However I do not take ANY of the official hairrestorationnetwork doctor recommendations seriously.

It would obviously result is a ugly hair cut...bald sides...and full head of hair on top. But just to humor the possibility. This IS possible technically right? although you might have some tiny dotted scars on the sides of your head right? I think I might prefer to have this kind kind of hairstyle than a horseshoe NW6 pattern.

Matt, wow. So happy for you. I remember our conversations in private messaging when you were getting ready for this, and comparing our konior consultation experiences. And now you're all done, and had a successful procedure, with amazing results. Wish I pulled the trigger at the same time so we could both be celebrating.
Can you break down the cost for everything?
