Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and happy independence day

Hey guys thank you for the response. I see you guys mentioned that you only apply once. Regardlesss if anything doesn't it say twice daily anyway? I apply on my vertex crown and the top of my head once in the morning and another Application at night. . That's what I thought the box said for best resullts.

Hey guys had a quick question. I always do my finisteride medication and apply my rogaine in the morning but when it comes to my night application since I work 3 shift I'm always forgetting. Is it possible f I can apply double the amount in my morning rogaine application so it takes care the whole day. I don't have any of the side effects of using rogaine like the dandruff so would this be a problem. Thank you

Thank you guys for the input.

I actually just started yesterday. I bought the liquid yesterday and today will go buy the tm foam. I'm thinking probably use foam in the morning and liquid at night. As far as shampoo goes was thinking of buying lipogaine the big 3. Finisteride not sure where to get it at.

well i use on my entire head
liquid on back
foam on front (the liquid causes me flaking)
the foam can double as a styling product (liquid is greasy)
(i find it serves as a thickening agent, must dry first then brush or comb out)
as for amount to use, minoxidil only works on the skin where it touches, so....
when i apply the foam to the frontal third and sides of my scalp i apply the nozzle directly to the scalp and depress the applicator very slowly and it drag along so i do not waste a hand full of foam that will mostly get onto my hair.
ya gotta play it a bit see what works best for you
but from the looks of your pic, with a year on fin and 2x a day minoxidil looks like you can get a full head by year' end
thanks for the info helps me really get an idea how your using it and thank you for the confidence im more excited and ready to commit my myself. Much appreciated. So your using the liquid 2x a day on the vertex and the foam 2x a day in the front or using the liquid 2x day for vertex and foam once for front? Would I directly place the foam on my receding line even if theres no hair there? Heres a picture of me on the side and from the top.
thank you
-
Thanks. So once I apply on my vertex according to the box what would be my approach to my front scalp and receding line?
- Fill the droplet again to 1 and apply half on my line and the other half on my front scalp?
Thank you
-
Wow thanks for that info I will put it in my front scalp and my receding line. Only one thing since it says use a certain amount the the dropper do I use that and just try to spread it on all the areas including the line or would I use a little extra.
-
Wow so it actually works on the front and receding line. Why don't they advertise that as well?

Hey fellas I picked a 3 month supply of rogiane liquid but I'm a little confused. I saw the box and it had a picture of the vertex saying this is the only area it would work at. I didn't know that. I just kept reading and seeing minoxidil on this forum and that a vast majority are using it. For those of you that are using it do I only put it on the vertex or do you use it on the scalp and receding line. Thanks
-
Thanks guys picked up a 3 month supply of the liquid version rogaine. It's all they had at target. Gonna give it a try.
-
Thanks guys got some ones to look at. Could u give me a list with some other names to try out. Thanks I'd like to get a lot of choices to try out thanks

Thank you for your input guys much appreciated. Did sound a little crazy. Gonna stop using cold water than. I would hated cause it's winter now and I'm always freezing.
-
Hey fellas someone told me a while ago that if you are thinning, it is important to always wash it in cold water to keep your hair thick. Is this true? Been washing it in cold water for the longest but I was never sure if this is the right thing to do.

Hey guys I've been reading a lot about how to start my medications and I think I'm learning a lot only thing is I'm missing a good shampoo and conditioner to start with. Just wanted to get some feedback on which shampoos are most popular for thinning.
- Is conditioner an important part for thinning?
Thank you.
-
Hi thank you for the response really appreciate it. So I guess I try the rogaine liquid and see how it works out. Is the lipogain another brand with the same ingredient Minoxidil? Thanks
-
Hey guys was gonna plan a trip to Costco and purchase a couple months supply of rogaine the Kirkland brand. Still was a little confused at what was the best option as far as the liquid goes and foam goes. Which is the more popular and effective solution. Thanks guys
-
How is your hair now David? Is it the same I really don't want to start using something that will cause me to shed. What shampoo are you using now.
- Do the majority of people who are thinning use a conditioner? Is it necessary?
Can I use rogaine once a day?

Hey guys I’ve been taking rogaine and finesteride for the past 2 years. been going great and I thank god I ran into this site and have learned so much from everyone hear.
Just had a question I know part of the deal with using rogaine with finesteride is using rogaine twice a day. With my schedule and everything going on I continue to forget to putting it on at night. Is this ok to do or am I risking loosing my new hair that I’ve grown. It’s been a month that I’ve been putting it on once a day.
Thanks guys
