  1. How are you feeling about the result so far?

Certain areas are patchy, but being a slow grower I have my fingers crossed to see these filled out as months progress. Overall results so far are not 100% to my expectation, but saying that it has made a major difference to my appearance. I do have more hair than what I went in with, so good in that sense. I will be seeing Dr Hasson in November, so hopefully can get a good feedback on the results. I will keep the forum updated.

  2. Are you wearing Toppik in these photos?it looks alot fuller.

No, in all pics I have posted I have nothing on at all. For month 10 I've grown my hair longer than usual and also transplanted hair are gaining thickness as well. So thanks if it gives that illusion. I would usually everyday use Nanogen fibres to fill in the gaps, but nothing compared to what I used before transplant!

  3. Looks good! Definitely a further improvement. Crown growth usually takes a little longer, and the area at the left side of your middle scalp may have suffered under trauma and just needs/needed to regenerate longer, so the growth you`ve seen in other areas until now may kick in in the upcoming two months.

You indeed are a super-slow grower man :) I don`t know what supplements you are taking currently, but if I were you I`d take a good multivitamin, biotin 2 x 5 mg daily, MSM (!), Vitamin B complex high dosage, and eat a lot of chicken or take protein shakes. Lots of vegetables, and as few sugar and red meat as you can live happily with ;) By this and a few other things (2 x 160 mg saw palmetto/d for instance), I stopped my hairloss for more than 3 years now. So not saying it`ll stop it for each and everyone, or even bring significant changes, but together with all the other benefits of the substances and given a fair price, it`s definitely worth a try imo.

Thanks for the advise. Currently taking Biotin, MSM, multi vits+minerals, Vit B complex and Vitamin C alongside Propecia. Diet is usually clean and full of protein as hit the gym regular.

Slow grower indeed! But funny thing is that non transplanted hair grows faster than the transplanted hair, don't know why?

Looking forward to further improvements in coming months.

  4. Hi Guys, I think with the crash we had on the forum my latest update has gone missing. Below is latest pic update. I am approaching month 7 and can see more coverage. I have combed my hair to the side (May be that helps) and can see more finer hair layered under the thicker hair. Below is pic when my hairs wet...

  5. Fullness,

Bonker is referring to you as being a repair patient because of your previous surgery which was unrefined it is a term to call patients that have had previous poor work a repair case. In your case it was a case of adding grafts around your existing transplanted hairs. If larger needles or blades were used in your previous surgery some scarring may have been evident that will result in slower growth.

Guys we are at 6 months Fullness is not concerned about his growth at this stage but he would like more, do we expect to see more of course we do. Let's judge this result when it is a result at the 12 month stage.

Yes there was a large number of grafts used and yes they were spread over a large area initially the crown was not going to be touched but as the number of grafts was more than initially expected the decision was taken to cover the crown and all the balding area.

Please continue to update the forum Fullness and I will look forward to meeting with you in person to assess things in the near future.

Thanks Garageland. I will continue to update.

  6. 5000 approx is nothing for area that size including crown I know because I've had 5300 graft session on a much smaller nw5a shape including crown hence why I later I had another 6000 on top as well. I do think something is a miss here it's either area, because he's a repair patient or he's just a really slow grower.

Hi Bonkerstonker, when you say a repair patient what does that mean? I do apologise my understanding is limited in this area...I have had 1 previous transplant of 1000 graft mainly in the hairline region. The main reason for 2nd transplant was to have coverage in the balding area and density in the frontal region, so adding into existing transplanted hair. In terms of growth I would say I am growing slow compared to others...so hopefully coming months may bring good news.
