A question for any docs on the board, I've been taking Propecia for over 10 years and now it has stopped working, I've increased the dosage and this has not had any affect either.

After hairs have shed while taking Propecia, how long does it normally take for them to regrow and start sprouting? I've done a bit of Googl'ing and I'm guessing a few months?

Hey everyone,

Calling out to long time posters - I'm on 2nd month of Proscar, my Crown was very very health before taking Proscar, no thinning at all, now after 2 months on Proscar and some shedding in month 1, hair loss has started in the crown.

Basically Proscar seems to have onset thinning of a very strong crown.

Has anyone heard of this before? any docs?

Anyone know who is the least aggressive turkish hair transplant doc for hairlines? As I know specifi docs really like to Dense pack and obviously use up the donor area!

Hi Blake, bit confused surely any thining of 'native hair' would make the hair transplant appear better? I've been taking meds for a long long time

Transplanted hair was into a area of the temples which was was quite pretty empty. So I'm pretty sure that the transplant hair is thinning/shedding. Although I'm not seeing a increase of hairs shed when having a shower.

So I got a HT with a well known Doc around 8 months ago, both temples filled in nicely but recently I've noticed one of the temples with transplanted hairs is becoming alot thinner, the transplanted hairs are shedding?. The temple that is thinning/shedding the transplanted hairs was the STRONGER temple pre transplant.

Has anyone heard of transplanted hairs shedding 7 months after a transplant?!

I recently had a transplant with a very well known surgeon ( will not say who yet ) I'm currently at 4 months.. and one temple side has seen significant more hairs sprout than the other side.... Anyone else experience this? Bit concerned about the one side being way behind in terms of new hairs sprouting through

been on Fin for years and years. Its definately something to do with the transplant....

Anyone else experience a greasy forehead after a hair transplant more than normal? I'm at 2 months post-op and my forehead is still getting very greasy much more than pre-op. forehead never got this greasy pre-op!
