it depends if you are rebuilding your hairline, if thats the case 2000 grafts most likely will do your frontal core only. If you want to get close to the crown than my guess you will need 3000 grafts
thanks! do you believe i will have enough donor density to extract 3000 with FUE or should i explore FUT?

Hello All,
I have recently decided to take the plunge and scheduled my first transplant procedure in a couple of weeks. After consulting with a few recommended specialists, I decided upon a well reviewed practice that uses Artas for graft extraction.
Some of the consults were more optimistic than others with regard to donor supply and expected results. The doctor I choose was the most conservative and we decided on a 2,000 FUE procedure that focuses on the hairline and mid scalp.
I am 32 years old and would like to address the crown area at some point. What are your thoughts on donor supply based on the pictures? Given my level of hair loss, do you believe that I am good candidate for a transplant and is using all 2000 grafts in areas besides the crown a good idea? Thanks for your feedback.

I had work done by Dr. Bernstein in April of this year. Im also of asian decent and in my early thirties. The results are getting better by the day and the overall experience was superb. Dr. Bernstein and his staff were very thorough in explaining the procedure and setting a realistic goal. They have an Artas machine and Dr. Bernstein is featured on the manufacturers website. I wanted an FUE procedure - his office location, endorsement from Artas, reputation, years of experience, and great reviews made the decision easy. From what I have read, he is conservative and even though I wanted to do some crown work, I was advised against it because of my age. You may also consider saving your donor for future work on your hairline since it is the most visible area.
