Sorry for being away for a while..A lot of things happened in my life lately, My hairs have been processing these days..that is at least some good news to hear.
I feel if I style my hair forward, it looks better since existing hair could cover some bald spot. I would look more like a normal guy than a bald guy, If I style my hair backward like some of these pics, you can see clearly there is still space to improve to match the surrounding hair.
My ultimate goal is to style my hair like the ways I like such as comb all hair backward or have bangs without being noticed anything..Would that be possible based on my 4 month and 3 weeks growth? Guys, let me know your thoughts!

I think it looks, good for 3 months.the work seems very clean and smart ( definetly in comparison to the numerous cheap hts ive had in pakistan).

Thank you my paki friend;)

Looks as expected for 3 months! Nothing to worry about! By 6-9months you should see a bug change!! Happy growing and be patient!
Thanks bud, I am taking MSM wishing it will boost the growth, And should I apply Rogaine on there for the same purpose?

andy,
When did you resume taking it? I ask this because it can take 6-12 months of being on finasteride before knowing how efficient it is working.
There can also be some shedding when starting the drug so it can also cause some temporary thinning.
I have been on it for 19 years and would no doubt be a full Norwood 6 if I would have stopped it. So none of us want to progress any further if we can help it.
Congrats on your recent procedure...
Thanks bud. I resumed it actually on Feb( 1mg/day back to that time) and switch to (5/4mg every other day) after I consulated with Dr. C on May.

I'd wait longer post-op to reassess. Your hair is going through a lot of changes right now, and if you were operated on three months ago, you could have experienced some shock loss that is unrelated to finasteride's efficacy. Just ride it out for another six months, then reassess. You can always discuss dutasteride with your doctor if you feel like you need a more potent option. I went to dutasteride directly and skipped fin.
Thank you for your advice! It's really helpful! Yeah you;re right my hair was going throught alot these days and I might be thinking too much or too stressful. Let' see:)

Earlier is better, but, as long as you have hair on your head you want to keep, it is worth using.
True! Well said.

I do even 2 twice a day if I play basketball in the evening

Keep taking it, just because your hair doesn't look better doesn't mean it is not working. Fin slows down the whole MPB process.
Thank you for your inputs! I just feel its kinda late for me to resume fin..you know, the ealier we start to use, the better result..

Hi all,
It is really great that all hair loss suffers have such a good place online to talk and educate about hair loss and HT.
I got a question which I noticed that fin doesn't work for me as good as 2 yrs ago in 2013,(which is 3 yrs since my hair loss)
Back to that time, my hairline already gone. My crown started to thin a bit but not noticeable. I would say I was around NW3
After taking med about 1 month, I realized hair became thicker and drier. So it worked pretty well.
But for some reason, I stopped it, which is a stupid decision.
Right now my crown thinning is noticeable I would say I am around 3v, I just got HT from Dr.Cooley( thanks to this forum) back to June. link here:http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/180025-2000-grafts-fut-dr-cooley-just-done-friday.html
But I feel fin doesn't work for me as good as before. I dont see the difference I saw before.
I am taking 5/4mg every other day, basically, following Dr. suggestion.
Thanks y'all for any thoughts and inputs!

Here is some pics I took. Ive been seeing noticeable shockloss or whatever it is behind the transplanted area, which makes me constantly worry. You can see the difference btw first one which i took on July 26th and the second which I took just now.
Besides that, the transplanted hairs seems start to grow. I also took 2 pics of that. What you guys think about it? And should I keep using Rogaine? Can I apply it on transplanted area or only crown?
Any inputs would be deeply appreciated. And I will be keeping the updates with the progress.
Thanks!

Update: It is been one and half months! All the hairs fall out as expected. I am bald again like I was before HT.

The work looks good as is to be expected by Dr. Cooley and you seem to have healed well.
I'm sure you'll be smiling in a few months time.
Thank you. I hope the same!

Looks good I think you are going to be happy.
Thank you, How is your hair progressing? I consulted with Dr V too.

Help! hey guys it's been a little bit over 12 month, the transplanted hairs continue to be great. But I am facing a big problem right now, which is my existing hair is getting worse sooo fast since I decided to stop taking fin 3 month ago.. Never stopped on Rogaine. Now I am back with fin again:( for like 1 month.
Things haven't got better yet!////
