  1. Hi All,

Just need a 2nd opinion on these two photos.

I'm now 4 month in taking Finpecia, applying Minoxidil 5% and Nizarol.

    Can you see any progress?

1st pic taken in March. 2nd pic taken in July.

    Thanks

  2. Thanks for the input guys. Much appreciated.

I use foam during the day time as it helps to style my hair. At night, I use the liquid as it's more cost effective and also seems easier to penetrate directly into the scalp as it seems like it's less absorbed by hair strands.

Kirkland liquid is pretty cheap. For foam, I use Rogaine, both 5 %. :D

Thats a good idea Boba. Might go for Kirkland 5% liquid AND foam.

  3. On my last bottle of Kirkland Minoxidil and decide to try the foam. What are the pros and cons involved?

Is the foam more effective then the liquidm hence the price difference?

    All advise appreciated.

  4. Being UK based, Dr Redddy is one of the first Doctors that I looked into regarding FUE.

Had an initial free consultation with an advisor at The Private Clinic as it was only 3 mins form my workplace in London.

Advised to Propecia 1st before deciding whether to have a consultation with Dr Reddy himself.

Keen to see some before and after pics of any forum users that used Dr. Reddy.

  5. SkinEd,

Being open-minded is not bad at all, but being careless is. A quick search about Ulf Kienecker should make you stay miles away from him.

    Just an example:

He also partners with the "Moser Kliniken" in Austria, which have the most terrible reputation imaginable in the German-speaking part.

    My good advice: Run!

Good advice. Thats what this forum is for. Sorting wheat from the chaffe.

  6. SkinEd that is still an amazing before/after result.

I "touchup" my concealer with a few waves of my hairdryer every morning.

Thanks mate. Its not something you can do in a hurry. Maybe I need more practise. What product do you use? Do you lock it in with hairspray afterwards?

If you have any moisture in your hair when applying it will sometimes clumb. Directly after washing your hair and thoroughly drying

    will give best results.

Will try that tomorrow. Can you put hairspary on after to lock it in?

  7. Ok, got the product through the post last week.

Please bear in mind, I'm still getting to grips with the Caboki I've already got, so application if Fibond may need some adjustment. This is my 1st attempt, but may work better if I had more time.

I had applied Kirkland 5% the night before, but thought it would be dry the next morning.

When I sprinkled the Fibond, it came out in some clumps, so had to brush off and start again. Not sure if this is beacuse of the Minoxidil the night before. Maybe washing hair and then drying might achieve a better result.

    See what you guys think

  8. Came across an advert for Kienecker Medical on FB and clicked on it as you do.

As I'm still researching FUE, found this thread, so would be interested if Den-City could post some pics up.

I gather from reading numerous threads that if you wanted FUE in the UK, Farjo is the only option, but perhaps there are other options? I'm just being open-minded here.

  9. After over a year of procrastinating, I am finally getting started with the much-loved and much-hated drug.

Procrastinating! Thats a new word for me, I had to look it up.

I've only just started last week as it was prohibitively expensive before.

Good questions which I hope someone more qualified on here can explain.

  10. I'm absolutely hooked on Nanogen! It takes my hair back to what it looked like 5 or 6 years ago.

I don't apply minox in the morning so I towel dry and allow to dry naturally, add some Nanogen to the mid scalp (not too near the hairline), apply a bit of gel to style, and then 4 or 5 sprays of the locking mist.

It is a pain at night but I stick my head under the bath tap to wash out the fibres, allow my hair to dry for 5-10 minutes, then apply regaine.

I use Kirkland Minoxidil Morning and night. Only recently got some Caboki which doesn't seem to work that well after applying Minoxidil. Maybe I'd follow your lead and only apply minoxidil at night.

  11. In the UK you can purchase it online with a self-diagnosis

I produced propecia to my GP and she was surprised that I could buy this myself via a reputable British pharmacy, and she was staggered that it was used for hair retention purposes12th 2013

Hi Duncan, do you mind if I asked where you purchased your Propecia from in th Uk.

    Thanks

  12. Hi skinEd,

    A few observations:

    - have you tried Propecia? Some people get an amazing reaction and end up not requiring a HT.

    - I think a large strip session could be a better bet than a small FUE.

    - Thats a ridiculous price quoted. Forget switzerland and go to Belgium.

Not yet Matt. Will be seeing my GP about Propecia soon.

Where does one go to buy Procepia in the Uk? Lots of adverts everywhere for it, but would like to buy from a reliable(and Cheap) source.

    Thanks

  13. Being based in the UK means amazing FUE is a stone's throw away buddy. You have Lorenzo in Spain, Feriduni, Bisanga, Mwamba and De Reys in Belgium, Erdogan in Turkey etc. All experienced with FUE on higher Norwood patterns. I would not go anywhere else.

Thanks Mickey, thats good to know. Lots of reading and research to do!
