  1. I have a question for your HT veterans out there. I am currently 4 weeks post op, everything has been very smooth thus far. Over the last day I developed a decent size pimple in the recipient area. Everything I have read so far stated I would possibly see this when the implanted hair started to regrow. Is this normal at this time frame or should I consult with my surgeon on this?

    Thanks,

    MK

  2. Mk92, I had my transplant done the same day. A fue 3000 grafts. I bumped my head two days ago and nothing happened so I believe they are pretty well set now. Have you noticed a lot of itcheness in graft area and especially donor suture area? I have been putting Neosporin on suture area, which really helps, but any help on what to potentially put on transplanted area that won't hurt them. Thanks

    Thomas,

I really didn't seem to have to much itching throughout the past few weeks and I was given some Aloe to apply at night to the recipient site and that seemed to do the trick!

  3. I would not be to concerned If I was you, It looks like from the pictures that you have some recession around the temples and some to the hairline itself but it could just be that your developing a more mature hairline at a younger age. There is no way that after 10 days finepecia is having an effect so I would count that out. If price is an issue with propecia get your physician to write you a script for finasteride. I switched to it after a year on propecia because I was tired of paying $85 a month for it. The finasteride comes in a 5mg pill which I cut into quarters. I pay about $12 for a 3 month supply from Healthwarehouse.com. Take a look at my pictures and see the results I had after just 2 years and my hair was thinning horribly. Just realize that you have to be patient with the pills and give them time. Other than that your hair does not look bad at all buddy, there are plenty of guys that would kill for hair like yours.

  4. Hey everyone,

I just had my first HT on 1/4 and was concerned because I have accidentally bumped the grafts a few times with my fingers throughout the week while trying the style the hair that covers them. Since I am new at this I cant tell if I have done any damage or not, should I be concerned?
