Thanks so much for the feed back. I'm 39 years old. I wear my hair short...that will never change so FUE is the way for me. It is a REALLY hard thing to let someone touch your head. I will continue my research, but there does not seem to be a lot of excellent FUE docs compared to strip. I hope that does not start a big debate. It just seems the top docs are strip only.

Guys quick question: I have been using rogain for 2 years and propecia for 3 months. Visited several doc's...ones I consider very good.
Here is my question:
Is there any downside to having a FUE hair transplant phased in?
I always wear my hair short (since I was 15) I know that are a lot strong opinions about strip or FUE and I was told by an excellent doctor that I need about 1800 graphs and it must be strip. Anyway I do not want to go thru strip....just not for me. Is there any downside to a phased in FUE procedure? For example 1000 graphs then 800 graphs at a later date. I also am a bit "gun shy" about a transplant, so a phase in might make a mistake easier to live with. Oh by the way Norwood 2. Thoughts?
