I have to say I was disappointed in the result and lack of comms from the Dr but his final response has given me hope again. I'd always thought I'd use Dr Humayan when I can finally afford the treatment with time and money because I often visit Pakistan and its A LOT cheaper than UK/Europe.

My cousin recently had his HT performed in Lahore by a non network surgery so I'm waiting for his results before I make judgement

Hmmm, theres been many other members here who've mentioned the price they've paid with their Dr's so I dont agree with you about mentioning price quotations. If you have a problem with stating how much you've been quoted PERSONALLY than fair enough, I can accept that.

I'm fully aware of how HTI operates as I have been in contact with them also.

Nize, how much have you been quoted for the 3000 grafts? I'm thinking of going with Dr Humayan in December or maybe early next year.

I was wondering, are patients advised against using blade to completely shave their hair regularly post op? Are clippers with no guard the shortest you can go? Becuase I figure after surgery I'd like to keep going completely bald for about 6 months post op and then grow my hair out completely.

Hmm, still thin at the front IMHO but obviously still an improvement from before. Why less than 2000 grafts just out of interest? I would've expected more given the type 3 status, maybe 2500/3000?
