Wow, that’s looks really good. I wonder why people don’t practice more of the fading the SMP towards the front, such as this.
-
-
So I had three sessions of SMP into my linear scar and fue scars and I must say I’m very happy with the results. I can now rock a medium high fade with a 1/2 guard...
-
I’ve found an establishment that performs SMP here in San Diego for a very reasonable price. Very excited about this especially after my previous consultations. Other places were charging a minimum $2000 just for SMP into linear scar. Outrageous.
-
I’m close to month twelve myself. You seem to be on the right track. Everything looks good.
-
I’ve had three strip procedures done and later had one FUE into linear scar (50% improvement). I was thinking to add SMP into the linear scar to camoflauge it even more. I’ve been calling around to local SMP clinics and the pricing is outrageous (SoCal).
Has anyone went with a tattoo artist to conceal the linear scar? If so, how did it go? Honestly, is it that difficult to conceal a linear scar with just tattooing? I don’t have a buzzed head... med long on top with fade.

You will not see anything significant until the seventh, eighth, or nine month. Be patient it’ll be fine

Too early for concealer. Are you allowed to wear a hat at work?
-
Just tried mascara and I must say this is by far the best concealer I've tried yet. Got some tips for YouTube on, "How to thicken your Mustache." I tried Waterproof mascara from Maybalean. Even my wife was surprised.
Note: I had three FUT procedures and one FUE into the scar which comcealed the scar about 50% (Dr. Umar fue)
Because of this finding I will not go through another FUE procedure into my scar. I can live with putting on this mascara to conceal my scar.
I hope this helps some of you.

Congrats on your ETSMP procedure. :-)
"Extremely Temporary SMP"
- but careful with that man. When I was a kid I had a blister on my hand from playing tug of war and I thought it'd be funny if I colored the blister (half-dome, non-popped blister) with a red marker. Gave me an infection
Its a scar, not a blister.
Next...?

What are you guys using to conceal your scar? I like to sport a medium high fade with a 1 guard. You could easily see my scar but I camouflage it by using a fine sharpie. Any other suggestions?
-
How about you pluck some hairs out to make it more natural to your liking.
I have the same issue.
-
How much did it cost?
-
It would help a lot of people out if you provided some pictures. That would be awesome.

When can you do FUE on a scar after HT ?
I would say at least 12 months, but preferably 18 months.

Thanks hairthere - I want to clarify that Ahead was totally helpful, well-informed and easy about the whole process and it's probably just something in my biology and nature of my scar that made it fade. I will follow up with you via email.
If anyone has seen photos of short hair with SMP on an FUT scar, I would love to see good examples or hear from people's experiences. I can't quite seem to find what I'm looking for via Google image search.
Me neither. I would like to see SMP into a fut scar with short hair. Pictures with someone with a fade haircut would be perfect. Or pics with smp amd fue combo into a fut scar.

Saw this the other day. Good concealment to say the least.
Where was this done at? It looks great.

Hi Joel,
Thanks for the feedback. You can see the scar in the before still pictures. The point of the video was to illustrate how the dots of SMP look underneath the hair (I think they show up pretty well) and how seamless they look with a comb through. This client is very pleased and is referring us many more strip scar clients so next time I'll be sure to get some video of the before scar too.
Oh I see. You're right. Does look a lot diffrent now that you pointed that out.

Would be nice if there was a before and after
-
Honestly, I think your hairline is just fine. Maybe you should think twice about lowering it.
-
Idk... His hairline is really far back.
-
Looks really good.
Congrats.

I thought M.Mc. admits to wearing a system at times.
-
Man, your still rocken that 80's cut!? Looks rad.
Anyway, I can't tell either.
Picking Dr for 3rd and final procedure.

Lol Story had me laughing out loud. I could only image...
Not sure if you have already gone in for your 3rd HT, but if not, I would recommenced Dr. Ross. I had 5 HTs... first 3 were with Dr. Ross (strip). After my 3rd I guess he took a leave of absence, so I went with Dr. Umar (FUE) for scar repair.
I was very pleased with Dr. Ross’ work and results. Dr. Umar’s results were “ok”.
