  1. Hi everyone, I am interested in getting SMP to cover disguise my FUE scars. I have attached photos (sorry about the haircut - it was a self cut during lockdown). I usually don’t get my hair cut down past a number 3 guard but I would like to start getting it cut shorter after SMP.

Is it better to get temporary or permanent SMP? Can anyone recommend good SMP clinics in the UK?

I am worried about the dots turning blue or green and the ink bleeding.

    Thanks for your help.

  2. Hi everyone

    Thanks for the replies!

So do you guys think my surgeon knowingly implanted 2's and 3's into my temples and hairline? And this is something that should never be done?

If I have some of the implants removed from my temples and not replaced, would it leave visible scars?

Do you think I have a case for a full refund?

    Thanks

  3. Hey! Thanks for your reply. Yes the last 2 pics are how I style my hair to try and conceal the pluggy look but it still shows through.

I would like it to be much more dense but with more single hair grafts as I don't think the 2's and 3's look natural in my hair line. The hairs on the back of my head are thicker, darker and harsher than the softer hairs on the top and sides of me head.

I have attached an image of my hair line before the transplant. I am happy that my hairline is lower now but I miss having a normal hairline and especially miss normal looking temples!

    Thanks

  4. Hi everyone!

I am a 31 year old male. I had an fue hair transplant in january 2013 to lower my naturally high hair line by around 2cm. I had not experienced any hair loss and no history of hair loss in either side of my family.

I think i had around 1500 - 2000 grafts put in my hair line and temples.

The problem is now that it looks very un natural and has a doll like hair plug appearance. People often stare and ask what the deal with my hair is! I don't like going out in the sun without a hat as the sun shines through my hair and shows the thick dark roots of the hair at the front.

I have contacted my surgeon and he said - "the single hair transplants have grown into 2's and 3's due to stem cell replication perhaps" - is this a common thing to happen?

He also said he will fix it free of charge.

I feel like i need lots of single hairs put in the front hair line and within the transplanted hairs. I need the 2's and 3's taken out of my temples also and replaces with singles to match in with my natural soft hair on the sides.

What would you guys suggest i have done to fix this?

    Thanks for your help.

  5.

Yes I have consulted with Dr Radha via email and I was very impressed with her, but that was when I was going to have strip method. Now I am certain I want FUE and I'm not sure hoe experienced she is with FUE.

Dr Tejinder Bhatti and Dr Sohi mainly do FUE. I have heard lots of good things about Dr Bhatti on here and other forums.

There is not as much info on Dr Sohi but his results on the website look great.

I would love to speak to guys who have been to Dr Sohi.

    Dr Tejinder Bhatti

    Dr Madhu

IT WOULD BE GREAT TO TALK TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD TRANSPLANTS WITH THESE DOCTORS SO PLEASE MESSAGE ME.

    THANKS.

  7. Hi guys

I am a 28yo guy. I have not suffered any hair loss but have always had a high hairline since I was a kid. I have contacted many hair transplant doctors and they have classified me as a NW2.

I am going to be in Asia in early 2013 so I am looking for a good transplant doctor out there. I think I am going to go with Dr Radha in India as she seems to get very good reviews on here and her photos look good as well as her strip scar. I have emailed doctors all over the world my photos and suggested amount of grafts needed ranges from 1500 to 3000 for a densely packed hairline.

Is there any guys on here who can give me advice and maybe even show me photos of their transplanted densely packed hairlines? I am worried about the front looking very thin compared to my normal hair at back.

I was also wondering about the fact that I am going to be travelling about asia just after I have the transplant done. How long before I can go swimming in the pool or sea? What about sun exposure? What do you guys recommend for fast strip scar healing?

If there are any guys who are interested in going to India for a hair transplant around Jan/Feb 2013 send me a message.

    Thanks for your help :)

  8. Thanks for the replies guys. Yes I am aware the scar could become visible if I did loose my hair later on in life. I would prefer to have my hairline lowered surgically rather than have a hair transplant because I'm not sure I could get the same density with the hair transplant. And the hairline lowering surgery gives an instant result.

I have tried to send a few private messages on here but it doesn't seem to work, is there something I need to do? I only joined yesterday.

    Thanks

  9. hey everyone

i am a 27 year old male and i have had a high hairline since i was a child. i have not had any hair loss. having a big forhead really knocks my confidence and negatively impacts my life. i am interested in having the hairline lowering surgery and have been researching it online. i have attached a photo of a guy who has had it done by a doctor in california - i would hope for similar results.

has anyone here had this done or know anyone who has?

can anyone reccomend any good surgeons?

    private messages welcome.

    thanks guys.
