  1. Joe,

Thank you for your answer. However, I'd like to get an opinion from you. Lets assume that I'm a nw6 at a young age and have a low donor density and low laxity and looking for a buzz cut/shaved look. What should I do and what do you suggest me to do ??

So at "young age" your balding, you then have this tattoed on your scalp but it never grows? the color fades? You end up being completely bald because it was agressive at a young age, then what? you tattoo little dots on the whole scalp? then it all fades? 30 years down the line, your sides and back gray, and you have dark little tattoo marks on your head? or even worse the sides gray and you have purple or blue or green faded dots on your head?

I know theres companys doing soley this type of "procedure" to help camoflauge hair loss, and i also know that even some hair transplant doctors are getting in on the action, Vinci Clinic, Dr Riad Roomi.. but face facts, this is a tatoo, it will fade, and as hairloss progress's youll have to keep adding these to comoflaguge till the point where you have no hair whatsoever on top and your combing all tattooed dots!!

Im not trying to badmouth a new thing but I just feel like this is a nonresable temporary fix that a lot of guys would regret later on

  2. Would scalp tattoo/tinting fade over time? Will sun exposure effect the tattoo?

Kathie, i dont see how this is any different then any other tattoo, they all fade. Even worse though is that this is on your head in direct contact with sunlight which will cause it to fade even faster!! In addition to it fading what if as aging your hair goes gray? then the "Scalp Pigmentation" Aka tattoo would be the wrong color

  3. 13,000 euros equals almost 17,000 U.S. Dollars, which is pretty darn good for 3000 grafts via FUE. I've seen FUE prices in the U.S. anywhere from $7 to $10 a graft.

That seems high to me, i had a consultation with Nuhart a year ago to have more work done and was told i didnt have enough elasticity to do another strip so they suggested an FUE case, i dont remember exactly how there pricing worked but they seemed pretty reasonable. I didnt end up doing it cause the wife said enough was enough

  4. I never used any products to try to stop my hair loss i just thought it was apart of life... but im also older than you so there want as many resources around when i first started losing

my nephew on the other hand is about 26 and i know hes been using propecia for a few years now and says its working well. He said the only downside is the cost, i dont know if its the same everywhere but here in pa its 80 somthing a month. Does anyone know of a gerneric propecia that works just the same for less money?

  5. a few days ago i ran into a friend i used to work with, i kept seeing his eyes wondering up towards my hair. So jokingly i said "what are you looking at?" and he said "what the hell, didnt you use to be balder than me?" And i laughed and said "not anymore"

personally i dont mind people looking at my hair, i think it looks natural and am proud to show it off... I dont try to hide the fact that ive had it done either. Why bother?

  6. Why is it better that the transplanted hair shed?

Why is it better that the scalp be clean?

I dont know that its better if it sheds or doesnt. My last transplant was at Nuhart in pittsburgh. Dr Dickinson told me that if the transplanted hair falls out after being transplanted that its okay because hair grows in cycles. However he did say that if the hair doesnt fall out it might grow sooner. As far as the clean is concerned i would guess just to prevent potential infection..
