  1. Hi BadBeat,

Yes, but then I may run into what I have seen some other people call "these docs or not at all" due to financials.

I am looking at Thailand because it seems to have some high quality doctors that are priced in a range I could afford. It is not that I am not willing to pay an exorbitant amount for a US doctor, I am just not able to do so.

  2. Hi guys

who is the FUE pioneered surgeon in Asia ?

I am planning to get FUE surgery done by dr. patho Damkerng

    Please guys advise

I thought that Path doesn't do FUE.

I believe he was educated before the FUE method became popular and instead has perfected the older strip technique.

  3. hello vanman,All the best with your planned HT with DR Pong,I have been very interested in this thread as i like many others i guess was planning on incorperating a FUE HT into a family holiday,While my procedure will be fue rather than a strip it will definately impact on our holiday. One of my major concerns is weather it will ruin the holiday for the wife and kids,Doe's your wife fully appreciate all the different scenarios that could happen post op and that she may well be left to her own devices if you don't feel up to doing anything? As we do not have much money at all i find it hard justifying the cost to myself never mind my family,All the best and have a nice day....

Have you chosen a doctor for the FUE?

  4. Hi guys.

I have read a lot about HT and have come to the conclusion that FUE would be best for me. I like to (at least sometimes) wear my hair really short and would not want any scars.

Looking at doctors who are not out of the range I can afford and still suppossedly top notch I have come across Dr Path and Dr Pong from Thailand.

However, it seems that both use the strip method.

    What to do now?
