I'm pretty new to the scene and was thinking Propecia and Rogain perhaps? But there's so many different kinds of Rogaine and apparently a cheaper version of Propecia (called Proscar) that I get lost trying to combine a good regimen to keep the hair I have.
Also, if I do decide to get something like Proscar, where can I get it from (I'm in Canada)?

He's the best IMO. Had my procedure with him on June 4th, 4,091 FUT.
Can you PM me the cost? And how long did it take you from the day you scheduled your first meeting to the day your surgery was?

Future HT Doc has it right. There are always some negative or less than optimal cases. There were even a few H&W patients on this site that crop up from time to time...(whatever happened to AmanIndia's case and very long thread (16 pages)? It seems to have disappeared.) If you google many of the HT docs and add "not happy" or whatever, some threads are out there for people like Feller, that guy in Atlanta, etc.etc.
I know many HT docs believe Dr. Rahal's technical work is very good. The one knock I hear is that is cosidered agressive. In considering my own next HT moves, I recently met with one of the very well known docs from MN, and in discussion he noted that they have some of Dr. Rahal's ex-patients who are having problems with donor supply and a too densly packed hairline. On the other hand, some posters don't like that clinic's conservative approach.
Sorry, what do you mean by too aggressive or conservative approach? Kind of scares me

So I was considering a hair transplant and decided that my best choice would be Dr. Rahal, since I heard he was both affordable and really good.
Here is one problem I'm having, I'm looking at all these reviews/pictures and they're fantastic, but there is no way 100% of patients were happy. My question is, has anyone heard or know of a bad experience with Dr. Rahal? Are there any regrowth pictures that don't look as good as the ones posted?
I'm sure there's SOMEONE out there, I know nobody is perfect, but I just want to look at the good & the bad and make a decision.

Just curious, because it seems like the long-term costs of buying/maintaining hair pieces are outweighed when you consider you do a surgery and be done with it.
Somehow, though, I feel like I'm missing something obvious and there's probably many legitimate reasons why someone would consider a piece over surgery, can someone tell me the advantages?
I'd like to keep the hair I have - what's the best combination?

Do you guys have some good suggestions as the best place to buy Proscar? Online or in a store?
