Well i have had a 800 Fue on my frontal 1/3rd about 6 months ago
Everything is perfect till now.. But what concerns me is the bumpy appearance around follicles..
Well this is Pic is taken almost 45 days post op after shed.. There were not much visible scarring then
Now at 6.5 months the hairs have started maturing.... and at the roots i can see white little bumps... I am worried.. what shoud i do now... I want to go back normal again... I dont mind going bald now... all i want is to be natural again... and i dont want more transplants
What should i do...Are they permanent? Or do they subside as time goes...
How soon will cobblestoning appear after a transplant

I have had done a 700 Graft procedure on my frontal 1/3...
I am 4 months post op with encouraging growth....
But i can still see those rashes like scars.... Do they subside.... Surgeon used 1.2-1.5 mm to create recipient sites....
Are those tiny white scars permanent??? Any help

Wow that's one great hairline.... Keep us updated...
Happy Growing!!
-
what about the donor
-
If the hair is taken from Safe donor area... You won't lose it...
-
as long as you have a hairline and some hair in the middle,, even with a bald crown you wont be labeled as bald,, i no dr feller will do a great job im jus scarred to death that this will be a mistake in the futre,, like i said i wouldent mind a hairline and some middle hair and a bald crown,, if feller tomd me that this is possible i would be very happy,, sure wish some other people would chime in here, maybe some people who have had surgery with dr feller? someone who has had a ht? any help would be great
That's one fact.... Losing a hairline is far more worse than having a bald spot at crown....
Hairline frames your face... 4000 grafts would create an acceptable density hairline if you don't waste it on crown....
-
Then how do surgeons get magical numbers like 6000 - 7000 grafts...
-
If you think you are destined to a norwood 6 then don't do it.
4000 grafts is not going to give anywhere near acceptable coverage to a norwood 6 Patient
-
Yes dont think I have ever had a NW1 hairline.
Then you haven't lost much...
-
I was 11 years old when that post was made... Enjoying my life to the Fullest then... No worries about Wind, rain.... Totally free...But now i' here at 22 with receding Hairline...
This post has Literally killed the Optimist in Me...

Sorry for the Multiple replies but i read the story now...
You are only 21... and that Strip seems to be large.. Did he mention anything about the grafts you have in reserve?
-
1000 grafts for free??? Dat's so generous of him
-
and 1500-2000 grafts would be conservative.... Just don't picturise a Norwood 1 Hairline in your Mind
-
Losing Hairline makes your face more rounded....
From 2006 to 2013 i can see a massive drop in Self esteem and Confidence and a Little Recession...
Your Loss is Slow if you had that Hairline at 17 years....
-
I have to stared to overcome it now. For the past six months I have been Looking and acting like an asshole....
The looks are the same even now.. but my attitude is changing.. I am now accepting the fact of going bald... and now care less of my hair..(Am i pretending.. I don't know)
Shitty way to live like this... a Total lie
Hope I get past this....
-
Has this happened to anyone other than me....
-
Even i'm in the same situation.... I would eventually require another Strip within 3-4 years at this rate...
Thanx Future_HT_Doc.. I always had this question in my mind
-
I wouldnt recommend Hair Systems... Of Course you would look great but would be always insecure... IMHO
-
1 month post op... i wouldnt worry much...
You are fine
-
4000 Grafts would be a nice amount if you are concentrating more on building a Hairline...
-
You said that you have had multiple procedures in the past....
So you must have the knowledge of the Growth Rate...
-
I presume that you did your research to obtain these numbers and that's fine. Whatever the numbers turn out to be, the one thing that always stands out to me are the differences between individuals irrespective of origin.
What I did want to address is that even if more than 4,000 grafts could be harvested in a single strip session, I would not recommend doing much more than that in a single session.
And I also highly discourage patients from having more than one strip excised in any single procedure.
And what about having multiple strips in procedures say that are 6 years apart??
-
You are a Norwood 3 Anterior.... and i think its Stabilised too... (Thick Sides).... Lucky to have that at 47
A Perfect Candidate for an HT as everyone says.... Use about 3000 grafts and you would be so pleased by the results (just my opinion)...
Hope you don't lose more hair ....
Good Luck

Typical Indian patient
Hair density ( no of hairs per sq cm) -Density varies from 70-95 per sq cm in Indian patients
Size of head-width of head from one ear to other -This varies from 25-32 cms in most Indian patients.
Skin Laxity( which determines the maximum width of skin that can be removed safely). - The width of skin varies from 1-1.7 cms depending on elasticity in Indian patients
So the Best Case is : (Length) 32cm*(density) 95*(width)1.7cm=5,168 grafts
So an Average Indian can Get a max of only 4000 .
Correct me if I'm Wrong..... Or do Surgeons Take out multiple parallel Strips is Laxity is Good Enough
