    Carolyn,

I can not speak for any doc in particular but it is a general consensus that if you go with a top doc, many will garauntee 90 percent yield, and if you grow less than that, the will give you that many free on your next transplant. Check with each doc first. You are likely to get little info about that on the board and should talk directly to doc. In two years of research I have never seen a refund and know that they are very unusual. How hard is it? Very. That is why is so important to choose the right doc.

  2. Hello,

I heard about Dr. Arocha's quality job. I have some questions and appreciate if you can help.

How difficult is the process of hair transplant, any pain? Does it have lots of paperwork? Is there any warranty for hair replacement or reimbursement if the transplanted hairs don't grow or partially grow?

    Thanks

    Carolyn

    Hi,

Do you know if Dr. Arocha treats women too? I need to know if he guarantees his surgery by replacement of non-grown hairs or reimbursement in the formal contract?

    Thanks

I've been wanting to do this for a while now. I had 2000 graphs done with Dr. Levitt several years ago and it was ok. Since then my native hair has fallen out and I am left with see through gaps. Dr. Arocha is hoping to harvest 2500-3000 graphs and close the scar gap from the previous surgery tighter. The area is roughly 60+ cubic cm. I'm a little nervous and hope things go well. It amazes me to think in a few hours the Doc can punch 3000 holes in my head and plant them with tiny hair follicles. He said I would be ready to go back to work by the time the weekend ends. I'm hoping for a really positive result. I'm not trying to achieve rock star hair but if I can just get the see through effect dealt with I will be so relieved. I will post pics on another thread. Thanks

I'm sure Dr. Arocha appreciates you starting this topic as do I. In my personal opinion, Dr. Arocha is not only a brilliant surgeon, but one of the nicest, genuine, down to earth people I've ever met. He knows his stuff and he's a real pleasure to speak with on any level.

    Best wishes,
