Youre looking great for 5 months. You'll see a lot of nice improvement in the coming months. Congrats!

He did post pictures. So many posts, such a long time... I got the feeling that the OP doesn't want help.At least from surgey 2 and 3 there should be plenty of pictures (before, intra, after from donor and recipient).
No pics, no possible help. Good luck anyway.
Maybe the guy isnt into writing on forums like we are. Maybe he doesnt work on the computer. Maybe English isnt his first language. My guess is he doesnt have access to all the before, intra, after from donor and recipient photos, didnt know he should post them all, or he's in the process of trying to get them. He does reply but he obviously doesn't come on the forum every day. To jump on the guy because he didnt know that he should show photos upfront, and then because he was a bit slow to respond isnt fair.
I think it's great that the moderators are trying to reach out to him.

Yep. You'll want to research a bit here and find a dedicated doctor that does specialize in hair transplants. Do not return for more work with that doctor. Find a top doctor and proceed. Sorry to hear about your experience. Glad you got your money back. The doctor was a general plastic surgeon that does not specialize in hair transplants. -
Save up and go to a top doctor. Most HT require 2+ procedures and you dont want to risk a bad looking transplant. Normal balding is 10 times better than a bad HT. Take your time and read a bunch of posts here like Gasthoerer said.

I would not take him up on that little discount. Go to a different (top) doctor. Go to a few different consultations and choose the one with the best track record (do your research) and one who seems the most down to earth and truthful. Seems like your doctor might have a touch of snake oil salesman in him. Travel and dont let distance be what stops you from a solid HT. You can sort this out with one more try but you have to choose well.
Hope it works out.

Very natural looking. The hairline looks soft and well placed. Great result.

It's awesome that this guys post is being taken seriously. Even if he never answers. It shows an active and caring community. Good work Bill.

I agree.Having a natural look is infinitely more important than big time density.- 1

The more doctor involvement the better (in general). The assistants can be good/not very good, and there is no way to know beofore the OP. Unless you research/ask the doctor who the assistant will be and decide from there. The doctors want to have the best assistants they can of course but some are in the learning phase etc. we never know. This is a big weak spot in the industry at the moment in my opinion. I hope one day the assistant will be brought more into the spotlight and recognized as a big part of a good HT team.Is that okay then? I’ve read the doctors should do the extractions and if anything the assistants implant that grafts -
Wowza! That looks great. He had nice thick donor hair and he wears a cut that really works with it. A little patchy on the back side but that might also be from the 1st procedure. No more FUE for him but he does look great now.

Hi 451stroker,
I would suggest contacting Dr. Allan Feller. He is in New York, recommended on this site, and is a top surgeon.
The smatest thing to do would be to set up a consultation with him so he can see your hair and decide what you need. He will give it to you straight.
Good luck.

Incredible result. Really good to see. Congrats!

I would wait a year. See how you feel then. Don't rush it.

Wow Farmcat. You have been through a lot, sir. You really seem to be heading in the right direction now. Looking way better. Can't wait to see the results of the 3rd OP in the next year. It's going to be an amazing victory from the look of things. Grow well.

Hi Jimbrann,
Glad to see your researching the possibilities.
Remember to take your time and research a lot more before you schedule any procedure. There's a lot of great advice on this site from people who have gone through it. I wouldnt do either Motorized or robotic. Go manual. Travel if you have to.

Invaluable stuff. Thanks for posting uncjim!

Great result and I like this...
.All grafts were harvested and placed by the physician -
I used finasteride for 6 months when I was 25, but it didn't do anything for me. In fact, I remember losing even more hair than usually at that time. I dropped it.
Hi MikeV,
You have to give it more time. At first you might get a little shed but then finasteride really helps to hold on to what you have. I would seriously consider it. Fin kept my recession to a snails pace for YEARS. Good luck with the coming procedure.
p.s I don't think laser therapy has been proven to help hair loss but I could be wrong.

Before you decide get a few more consultations. Online and in person. Read a lot of posts here. My personal opinion is that your whole frontal 3rd is due to fall out eventually so you want to think factor in that possibility. Take easyjet to Belgium or fly wherever a really good doctor is for a consult. It will be worth the extra little cost in the end.

Yea. I notice a lot of guys in their 60's experience significant hair thinning and loss. A tough decade for the follicle I think. Unless you are one of the lucky ones.
