I have psoriasis as well and had a procedure about 5 1/2 months ago for 4100 grafts fut. Your time lines are fine. I had the same worries you did as I didn't see any growth, but it takes 3-5 months to see anything for normal people as it was explained to me. I have growth now. I would go to the dermatologist and get your breakout under control though.

I'm at just under three months and haven't personally noticed much growth. I saw a friend a couple days ago who knows about my HT and he said it looks like I'm starting to fill in and have more density. I hope he's right and things are starting to move along!
You and I are at about the same point right now. How many grafts did you have? Good Luck!

I do not know either way, but in all other walks of life, you get what you pay for. Makes sense you would here too.

Hi, I recently had a session about 2 months and 3 weeks ago. Was just curious to see how long it took people to start to see growth? I know people say they start to see it 3-5 months in. I'm just getting impatient.

Thanks guys for your response. Any issues with an FUT scar?

Hi GB83,
Thank you for taking the time to view the result. Here are the answers to your questions. He was miniaturizing in a NW 4V pattern (retaining hair in the forelock and bridge), so his hair still effectively combed over when he wore it longer. Comb overs, like hats, mask hair loss. Without the benefit of his transplant eventually he likely would have developed into a NW 5 or 6. He has enough donor in reserve to do 2 to 3 more procedures plus FUE if needed. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for the response Kira. Do you see a decent amount of patients that do not take fin? Pretending that the bridge and forelock are gone, would he have enough donor to cover all of this sufficiently?

I am considering getting a procedure at Hasson and Wong. Getting cold feet a little bit, not due to the clinic, but about the investment of time both now and in the future. I have no intention of making this and FUT vs FUE thread. I would just like to get the opinions of people that have gone through the experience and whether or not it was worth it in the end. My problem is that I despise using meds despite being on propecia currently. I am experiencing minor sides. I am 28 and a class 3A progressing towards a 5 or 6 in the end. So, back to the original question.....would you go through with it again?

This is a great result and a really interesting case. I know propecia is recommended and advised when getting a transplant. I am 28 and have a similar hair loss pattern to this patient. I have more hair then he does currently. I hate taking meds even though I have started Propecia, though I am seriously considering stopping the use. I am curious, what did it seem like he was progressing towards, a V or VI? Does he have enough left for a second decent sized procedure should the rest go? This case gives me hope that I can do the same.

Who cares about his scar? The point of hair restoration is to have hair. Someone who wants a buzz makes sense for fue, someone who doesnt like their hair that way makes sense for fut.
