  1. Thank you all for your feedbacks.

I will post pics soon so you will be able to check everything. We did not touch the crown during the first HT.

But yes the results were good.... a bit sparse but good. But honestly I would need about 10 to 12K total grafts to be fully satisfied with a very good density. I'm a NW6 unfortunately !

Anyway, Pics speak better than words so i will upload a bunch of pics this week so you can make your own opinion.

    :)

  2. Hi guys,

I have some concerns about my hairs.

First of all, i still have some swelling one month after surgery? Do you think it is normal ?

It's not very big but it seems that it does not go away at all.

And second is it a shock loss ? Will hairs regrow ?

I've attached a picture of the left side.

    Thank you guys

  3. Dr Radha is Peferct. But the truth is that only the result count...

We'll see in a few month but i was very staisfied with my first surgery even if we always hope for more.

I may use body hairs for crown and so on but but for now I still have some time to check the results then we'll see.

About Dr Radha, I can only say good things about her. But as I said, Let's wait for a few months again ;)

She performed FUE only above the strip because she told me my hair under the strip were very thin. Anyway. 730 fue + 2200 strip for this second seession. about 500 font and the rest forehead and a bit of crown.

This is my last strip surgery. If more then FUE.

Here are the pics. I will post pre op pics when i got them ... you can still check my blog in my signature for the first HT.

  4. Hi guys.

    I can tell you a long story but i won't. I know what you're interestd in... :P

French guy, 30 years old NW6 going to NW7

    1st strip in september 2012 => 3600 grafts (1240 single hair, 2364 two hairs, 46 triple hairs )

    Hair Restoration Site for oncled

    2nd Hair transplant => FUE, yesterday ( 2nd of April 2014) 730 grafts

3rd Strip => today ( about 2300 grafts... she cannot do more)

I will post pics soon. I'm posting this thread since i cannot find any FUE results from dr radha before and this post may help you guys to make your decision.

Perfect experience as usual. Now waiting for the results which matters the most.

I will update only this thread and won't open a new one, months after month and my blog.

With 6500 grafts in total we were not able to cover everything. Crown is still missing. I will explain further details laters. But this was my last strip surgery.

I'm attaching the first strip shaved hair before my FUE.

Any questions, i'm around for you .... India is crazy but hair transplant is a lot cheaper. Good experience overall and now the worst part for me ..... WAITING

  5. Thank you for your answer futur ht doc,

Ok so people have between 5K to 8K grafts available via FUSS. Hope i will be in the upper range.

I expect to have at least 3000 grafts available via FUSS for the crown area

For the combination of FUE and FUSS, it is just that i will need this in any case. And as india is less expensive, i can do it at the same time so i will feel even better at the end.

is Combining both reducing the number of grafts available ?

As i told you, this is my last FUSS and i hope to have at least 3500 grafts for the crown .

I know i will need a FUE later but if i can undergo a 1000 grafts fue to increase density in my hairline now, it would be great.

Why people don't use combination of both method ? Is there a particular reason (except for price) ?

How many grafts a NW6 would need to have quite a satisfying result and appearence of full density in the hair line at least. ?

  6. Hi Guys

    Best wishes for 2014 !

I had my first HT in october 2012

here is my blog and i will update my pics this week

    Hair Restoration Site for oncled

I am (was) NW6 and i do feel better now compared to before.

I'm planning to have a second HT in the beginning of arpil with DR radha (again) especially to cover the crown area.

First, do you think the same amount of grafts will be achievable ? I'm not going to india for a mini session.

For the hairline results, it's way better than before but obvisously, it is still sparse and i want to increase density. Do you think combining FUT AND FUE is a good option.

Anyone of you have done it ?

    My plans if possible :

2nd and last FUT = same amount of grafts or more (>3600) for the crown area

1000 grafts FUE to add density in the hairline.

    Is it possible ?

I really want this to be my last FUT. FUT is the best option for a NW6 but is very invasive.

But i'd like to maximize the yield and the results combining both methods.

What do you think about it ?

And i guess i will probably correct my scar and add some grafts with FUE in a couple of year.

PS : i'm french => sorry for my mistakes

  7. Well

    to summarize quickly :

Scar has a normal size. (not too large or too long...)

Redness is normal. It will disappear month after month. Redness will last approximately 6 months. On the transplanted area, it will fade faster but do not hope that it will take less than 3 months.

Hairs will grow on your scar... and it will hide it.... but not now !!!

DO NOT WORRY ! you look great and everything is perfectly NORMAL.

I'm seven months post op. (with dr radha). And i went through all your feelings. I was like you. Now i'm fine because i know the things you describe are just normal.

    Good luck

Wainting is the hardest part !

  8. Here is my last post => 4,5 months, Dr Radha, 3650 grafts - Forum By and for Hair Loss Patients

6 months post op with Dr Radha, 3650 grafts.

I feel a lot better now compared to before my HT and i'm very satisfied with Dr Radha work.

Scar is almost invisible. I can hardly feel it. Hairs are still growing. I can't wait to be in july :D.

    What do you think ?

PS: Pictures on my blog in my signature

  9. @litesport I'm very happy too... Dr Radha did a great job. Tha scar is perfect and my hairs are growing fast. I just hope the final result will be excellent. Let's cross fingers ;) .(but waiting is hard.... i'm so unpatient ... )

@spanker What do you mean by super agressive ? Yes the doc ask me about a higher hairline, and we discussed a lot about the future. And after a lot of thought, i decided that it was what i was looking for. My density is not so great but my scalp laxity is good. So i'm planning (if the results are good) to go for the same number of grafts for the back (crown and areas) at the end of the year. My hairs are a bit curly too. SO it can give the impression of fullness.

And then i will have to wait replicell, alderan, histogen to add density or go for a FUE/BHT (i have a lot of body hairs). But till then, i will have enough time to think about the different possibilities and i will save some money.

But i have to admit that i feel a lot better now than before and it will in any case be for the best.

And finally, i hope i'm clear since my english is not perfect (i'm french).

    Thanks for commenting.

  10. Sorry Rodg for You. Maybe you will have to wait a little bit more for the final result. And some treatment (histogen, replicell...) could help you in a near future.

As far as i am concerned, my scar is good. Except some redness (which is normal i suppose), i cannot feel it when i touch the back of my head.

I'm only 3 months post op (with Dr radha) so i'm in the waiting phase. You can check the pics on my blog if you 'd like to.

It's certainly normal for a second HT to take longer than usual. But you look already great. Good luck !

  11. As i said before, i have no problem with Dr radha. That was my first HT and she did an excellent job. I'm sure the final result will be great...

I just wanted to share my pics and my feelings at 3 months post op. I know i don't have to worry now....And i'm not worrying ...

It's just that waiting sucks. But i know this is the hardest part .

I will definitely go for another session if results are great. I will not wait too much for that. If i'm happy with my first HT, i will try to plan another session with Dr radha next october, november if i can.

My plan is to go for another session for the crown (3000 grafts at least, i hope), next year. This would be certainly my last HT. Then i 'm counting on histogen, alderan, replicell... to add more density everywhere. But if these treatments are not as promising as they appear, i would certainly go for A FUE.

    So in summary :

1st HT september 2012 => 3650 grafts for the front (which is done)

2nd HT October 2013 => as many grafts as possible .... maybe the same...or more (for the crown)

Then 2015-2016 => Alderan or histogen or replicell (let's cross fingers) or FUE 1000-1500 grafts for density

Thank you for your feedbacks to all of you and don't worry, i will keep you posted with the results.

  12. Of course, i'm trying to post as many pics as i can so you can make your own opinion about Dr Radha.

As you have noticed, i'm not an indian. I'm french, so you will be able to check the result on a euopean guy.

Everything is going great. Some hairs are growing. No pain. Scar is a bit red but you cannot notice it by only touching it. Some pimples but not a lot.

I really have no problem with the HT till now. But patience is not my main quality ;)

I will try to post new pics in a month and a half... unless something new is coming !!!

  13. Thank you .

Yes i know i just have to be patient.

Dr radha was really nice and i 'm not complaining at all.

She did a good job and i'm sure it will look great...

But waiting is a hard part... That was my feeling ...that's it .

Sorry for your first HT. I think going to a recommanded surgeon is almost a must.

    Thank you for your feedback.

And honestly, i don't feel very bad. It is just that i 'm looking forward to the next summer ;) .

  14. Hello,

You will find on my blog all the pics you need to see. I just updated it.

    Hair Restoration Site for oncled

I've decided to start a new thread since it has been 3 months now that i had my HT done

    last thread : http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/167842-fht-3650-grafts-dr-radha-27-09-12-pics-details.html

FHT with Dr Radha 3650 grafts (1240 one hair, 2364 two hairs, 46 three hairs  )

I'm perfectly fine and happy with my Ht so far. Dr Radha was awesome, but will have to wait another 6 months to recommand her....

Scar is still red and no new hairs are growing on the temples so far (Normal ?)

I'm sad because it's hard to wait. I'm afraid of being disappointed. I have so many expectations. I look like a freak.

I feel bad inside and i hope it will change soon with my hairs growing.

    Thank you for your feedback

And Best wishes to all of you !!!! :)
