The instructions I was given at the centre said it was okay to resume weights after day 14 so I was going off of what I was told. I'll hold off for now.

It seems as though all of the exercises I listed above should be okay. The only ones I'm concerned about are Squats & Lunges because the barbell sits on a meaty part of the back- do you think this will stretch the scar? As well as the back exercises (rows and deadlifts) I read somewhere that because you're "looking down" in these exercises it stretches the scar.. is that true? If it makes a difference, they're light weights
And for abdominals, I would think the plank/hoover and leg raises are okay but how about the side raises, do you think there's any risk of stretching from doing this exercise?

Hey there! I'm new here and haven't figured out how to post a new thread yet so I'm just going to add to this one for now.
I'm 12 days post-op (900 grafts on the right hairline) and I've resumed my high intensity cardio routine as of yesterday. My instructions say that weight lifting is okay from Day 14 post-op as long as I avoid exercises that will "stretch" the donor area. I'm having a hard time figuring out which exercises to avoid aside from sit ups and crunches.
I'm hoping to resume the exercises listed above on Tuesday or Wednesday (Day 14/15 Post-op) Any advice would be appreciated!
Thank you

Better safe than sorry! Cardio is better than nothing at all I guess, it could be worse. I'll just continue with my cardio routine for a few more weeks, if I picked up a weight now I would just be paranoid the entire time anyways!
I appreciate the advice and I'll use it! Thanks!
