I'm planning to undergo a HT at Dr Radha's clinic sometime in March. I had just emailed David about her, when I traced your thread again. Anyways, I'm really optimistic seeing your photos.

Can you pls do me a favor ? I understand end of the day its the Dr who knows best about my condition or if it can be handled. However, I have attached some photos taken of my head - sides / back about a month ago...Can you provide your opinion as someone who as undergone HT ?

Would appreciate your feedback..advice.. opinion...

Hello All,

 

I have been loosing hair since i was 17.

Now i am 23 year old and suffering from diffuse hair loss.

i havnt taken any medication since then and i decided to underwent surgery.

 

I got my surgery done with Dr Radha Rani at Vizag, India.

Initially her plan was to give me around 3000 FUG but unfortunately and due to less yield at donor area, she grafted 2300 units and these are placed over the frontal region creating a new hairline plus small coverage over temples.

 

I received 2300 FUG with following details-

 

1 hair - 920

2 hair - 1352

3 hair - 28

 

So total no of hair i got was 3708,

She has given me medication of Finepecia (finasteride 1mg) and

Tugain foam (which has minoxidil 5%) for 6 months course.

 

Hereby i am attaching before and after photos.Please have a look over my pics and post your valuable comments, i am waiting for them.

Also what made you go to Vizag and get it done. Did you get any recommendations to the place or the Dr ??

Great Thread.

Fact is I was ignoring my hair loss , thinking its not abt whats on top of your head that people, esp (Ladies) would choose you ... or others would be friends with you or even folks simply include you in their "cool" groups ... its eventually for what's inside it right !! WRONG -- How so naive and dumb of me !!

Coming from the sub-continent and despite being in Oz for the last decade or so, Tried giving the traditional partner search mechanism ( aka arranged marriage) a try. You won't or rather you all would believe how many folks/ families have knocked me back because .... of my hair or lack of it !!:rolleyes::rolleyes:.. I mean they do not make the reasons known to you so explicitly.. but I guess as you get knocked back... you realize esp if every other criteria is absolutely fine...

So now, as one wise person had put it..." Better late than NEVER" .. hence looking for some guidance from you seniors on this forum to help me make my decision as regards where I would do my HT.
