I had my HT with Doctor Radha 29/1/2012. I'm currently 3 months post op and if you want to wait another 3 months I can give you some feedback then. My first hair transplant was with DHT Clinic (Dr Path's clinic) but Doctor Kulukarn did my first HT and it was quite successful considering my level of hairloss.

 

I went with Dr Radha because it was a bit pricey with DHT Clinic and I was confident I'd get a good result with her. If your not in a rush to have a HT there are a number of patients who have recently had a procedure with her and I'm sure they will post their results as well. I can say she's a very honest and dedicated surgeon.

My room mate has undergone this procedure with dr madhu ... 2 -4 months is the ugly phase in this procedure ...

How is it progressing dude ... you have long wait to go ... i can understand this is the toughest wait

btw how are feeling now .. its almost 5 days now

How are those surgeons ? .. Iam slightly scared after someone saying on this forum that Dr .madhu is not preforming the procedure by him self and they have face some problems ..

Need some information. Recently i have seen lots of post which says that these days dr madhu is not performing the surgery and he leaves it to the assitant surgeons. Can you please throw some light on these.

Temporary smp could be an option to look at as well.

Yes you are right ... But in india i didn't find any good surgeon who can do FUE ... still searching if i can find one .. And cost is too high for FUE its 3 folds higher ....

without shaving the head ... there is a chance of 5-10 % grafts being lost ... didn't understand the funda clearly but ... they charge 20 k more for with out shaving ....

Yesterday i met a patient from jordan in Dr.madhu's clinic who opted for without shave ....he has come to the clinic to remove this stiches ... it's really tought to say that he has undergone a transplant

Actually i was thinking of going for hair transplant without shaving the head ... Dr madhu was saying for few months there might be a shock loss(20-40%) of the existing hair for few months ...

Iam also in the same situation ... if i comb the hair looks okay ... But they i go on bike or in heavy wind its really embarasssing situation .. yesterday i visited doctor madhu ... he has told me i can have 2500 - 3000 grafts..

Hairrestorationnetworks supports only one surgeon in india Madhu pathuri.

I am well aware that it take nearly an year for the full growth. Iam okay with the intiall growth also ... as it covers my hair line... I am only worried about the shock loss.. As the surgeon has to place it in between my existing hair also ..

i have freind who has undergone a surgery from some doc in kolkatta ... It looks shitty ... its better to be bald them have such a hair.

One more freind from dr madhu ... the results are excellent.

So you would say worst case by 5 months all the shock lossed hair should have starterd growing

My main worry is when does that shock loss hair grow back .. Because i have some hair in the front with which i can cover up as of now .. Iam only worried with the hairtransplant will i look more bald for some time
