  1. Thanks for the comments on the way the hairline looks. I really appreciate it. IMO he creates the best hairlines based on what I have seen. I am not the first Rahal 3000 FUE patient, just one that is documenting my progress on the forums. He has been doing this for over a year. He has had a lot of FUE patients, but not many that documented it like I am doing on the forums. There were patients with over 3000 grafts. I am the first 3000+ graft FUE DOCUMENTING my progress for opinions/feedback/responses.

You already mentioned Dr. Bisanga as being right up there with the world top FUE surgeon in an extensive previous post, so why not go to him? Your top three consist of doctors in Belgium. Dr. Bisanga, Devroye, Feriduni.

But even after that, your Number ONE pick was Prohairclinic. I mean you are from Italy, so I would assume those other doctors you mentioned would be ideal to where you live and that they are great docs. They are probably even better than Prohairclinic.

Dr. DeReyes retired Prohairclinic a while ago. So, who is the doctor now? Last I heard the hair transplant procedures at ProHair were mostly done by techs. I would rather have an experienced hair restoration doctor work on my scalp, than to have the job mostly done by techs.

    This was discussed here,

    http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/139677-2509-fue-prohairclinic-belgium.html

So, why go to the hassle of U.S. or to find doctors around this area, when you already have ones that are near you? Would you rather look for surgeon in the U.S. or just unsure of the work the others you mentioned? Check out the forums on all doctors and see who can really help and ask for plenty of photos. I would not go to any clinic that does not have an experienced doctor. IMO, Hair transplantation is a doctors game with the assistance of techs, not the other way around. Good Luck.

Sorry, I must have misread about you being the first 3000 grafts patient, my bad.

As I stated before I am looking for the most experienced team (with our without a doc in the drivers seat, it is all about the results). And from my personal visits to the clinics I have come to the conclussion that Prohairclinic are by far the most experienced in Europe, period.

Furthermore I looked into their results : website, youtube movies, personal patients results (mostly to be found in The Netherlands).

As for now I will no longer investigate US based FUE docs and clinics and follow your sound advice that some of the best are right here in Europe closer to me.

ps: Never heared of DeReyes , I will look into that.

  2. Hi Jessie,

In Europe dr. Bisange is right up there with the world top. I have not heared a lot from the other 2, but that means nothing since I mainly concentrated on Europe up to now.

For FUE in Europe I did my share of traveling. I drive a good old diesel burner and I did personal consults in France, Holland, Belgium and 1 in London.

Forget France and London based clinic for FUE, they are still in child shoes and learning how to walk.

My Top 3 where all situated in Belgium and it proved to be a good bet.

Devroye and Bisange both took the silver medal, third placed was a nice and funny doc with an impossible name Feriduni.

My number one pick was a slight outsider : Prohairclinic.

They do not have the best looking accomodation, others had more expensive and elegant interieurs. However in terms of results and patient experience reports they are at par with other European clinics.

The consult was done by Bart, a former patient and he is truly upfront, no BS or commercial guy by any means. Although he is not a doc I could not find him less knowledgable.

Then only thing what does make the Prohairclinic stand out from the rest is the fact that they have by far the most experience in house when in comes to FUE. They do not offer strip and this makes that they carry out FUE daily which they are doing since 2004 I was informed.

This is the main reason Prohairclinic has won the gold medal for me.

Now I am looking into the USA clinics for the most experience at FUE hair transplantation. My diesel won't get me that far, therefore I am looking for some help here.

  3. Hi bald and ex bald forum members

I have been doing my research in Europe for 6 months now and found the answers that I needed.

Now I would like to find out more about FUE clinics in the USA, using the same advice that my mom always gave me “find out the most experienced” when you need a medical intervention or in this case a hair transplant

Please let me know which clinic/doctor to investigate.
