This is one of the best results I have ever seen. Amazing.
-
Impressive! Especially with the number of grafts used.

Another great result.

He's the best IMO. Had my procedure with him on June 4th, 4,091 FUT.

As a Rahal patient, this makes me happy. I am only 3 weeks out though.

Your hair is going to look amazing man!

Looking great Sean!

Hi Everyone,
I recently had a strip procedure where I received over 4,000 grafts to the hairline, and the mid scalp area. I had no work done in the crown, and was told by my surgeon that I had no loss in that area. Lately however I have been feeling soreness in the crown area. This is especially bothersome when I perform my daily cleanings. What is causing this? Anyone else have a similar problem after surgery. Thanks for your help guys.

Happy growing!

You should be able to go back to it right away. Especially with a FUE procedure, and the very small sugery you're getting. I would wait at least 1-2 weeks after the procedure. Start light, then work your way back to your normal routine. I would ask your Dr. for his advice though.

Worst post ever?

Best of luck man, you chose a quality surgeon.
-
Great result from only 1600 grafts!
-
Who's the doctor? No need to hide info here.
-
Yes, Dr. Rahal is one of the very best. I recently had a strip procedure with him, but his FUE is second to none. Feller and Rahal are at the very top IMO.

We aren't there yet. Hopefully in less then 10 years.

Hair transplants are a big commitment, even when money isn't an issue. Think of the downtime from work, the constant exposure to the public, the potential need to take medication permanently and wear hairpieces for filming during the growth period.
In addition to that, as some people say, lots of people (even famous ones) just aren't very educated about the way these things work. Add to that the fact that not everybody is going to be a perfect candidate.
Finally, let's not forget that HTs are not 1:1 hair replacement opportunities. They can look really great, of course, but film stars need to look perfect. It's far easier (given the lack of concern for money) for them to get top of the range hair systems for their public and filming lives. They'll withstand all manner of harsh lighting, filming, water etc and can give the cosmetic appearance of total hair.
I'd opt for a HT any day, but then I'm not likely to be scrutinised a billionth as much as Travolta or Law.
And, of course, the final aspect to consider; confidence. These guys have money, fame, and probably feel very good about themselves generally. Nobody likes losing their hair but many people find the confidence to move forward in spite of it - it could just be these guys don't feel the need for them.
Good points Mahhong.

I have always found it strange that guys like John Travolta, and Jude Law do not get hair transplants when they have all the money in the world, and have significant hair loss. Obviously their hair is very important for their job, and not having it can affect their livelihood. I know Travolta wears a wig, and Jude Law employs a side part combover of sorts, but why not get a transplant? Thanks for your input.

Does anyone else have a problem with going to a barber to get a haircut? I am real self conscious about it, as everytime the hairdresser seems to comment on my receding hairline. It's just so freaking embarrasing.
-
Pay for mine, I'll be happy to go with you.
-
All the time.

I never thought I would say this, but that hairline is "too" low.
